Well we all saw the marked improvement from Toby this yr, Ryans turn next season to see if he can match his twin. If those two fire consistently, Stewart and Egan too plus the emerging Jake H and solid benchies then we may more than hold our own with other teams.

Remember now, there is something that Flanno has recently added to his praise of his players in that he is using "connect" more. The players are connecting which is very important to go with positive attitude. In the past 3 weeks we have won 2 games and lost 1 which was the last game against the Warriors under "diabolical" circumstances and even though we had those injuries in that game, the players all rallied to try and win the game and not give up because of their "new found connection" that has emerged. This is what will encourage better results next year.

Just imagine if we had another 2 decent players in our squad of forwards, we will kill it I am convinced.

I am keen to see Atkinson and LKT team up in the halves next year, but I still think '27 will be our year.

Jesse Arthars the Broncos winger has fallen out of favour there. I would hate to pick up yet another reject from another club but they have a shit-load of wingers at present.

Also Jamayne Isaako hasn't fallen out of favour at the Dolphins but they also have a stack of wingers headlined by Jack Bostock

I think it will be a Canberra - Melbourne GF. I'd prefer that than Melbourne - Penrith or Melbourne - Roosters. Unless Melbourne have a few injuries, I think they'll be the biggest favourities since when they were about 25% over the cap.

If you want a fast winger Alofiana Khan-Pereira should be the one. Much better than Jesse Arthars.
Xavier Coates is also better, obviously but he will come at a very steep price.
Will Warbrick is another. Melbourne might have to lose one of the two. But he's not as fast. More similar to the wingers we already have.
Mark Nawaqanitawase is another but Rorters won't let him go unless they are busted for cap rorting but you can be sure the Jewish mafia over there covers their tracks well so may as well forget about Mark Nawaqanitawase.

And as far as props go, Keaon Koloamatangi! Before he was injured, stats suggest he was THE BEST prop in the competition. After being moved mid-season from the second row. Better than Haas, better than Fa’asuamaleaui better than Collins.

Finally, Jack Bird is being shopped by the Tigers. I saw him playing for the Tigers earlier in the year and TBH, Benji had him playing much better than he ever played for us.

He is an inspirational player with so much versatility to play in many positions and has so much variation in using his all round skills. We offered him the term that he wanted and for many more bucks but his heart just wasn't with us and needless to say will never have it in him now to come to us so that is dead and buried. I can see it in Flanno's eyes during his Round 25 Final Word interview of some sadness that the signing didn't eventuate.
