Have to think Hannay as the titans coach would make Tino and JC feel a lot better about staying put.. assuming they haven't unofficially committed themselves elsewhere.

I still am very curious what they have in mind for JC.. 950k a season for their 3rd choice fullback.. it can only be for him to play 7, so im rly curious if Hannay is as passionate about him staying at that value.. I also cant believe how easily they can pay big dollars for guys like RCG and JC on top of guys like Tino/MoFo/AJ/Kini etc.. even excluding the 1mil for Fifita which assume will be gone.
I guess they will have JC play 5/8 and move on Brimson.

I don't think we should rush to get a half until we've seen how Atko goes in that position, patience might be our best bet atm. Atko could kill it or be a bust in the halves (hope not), ditto with LKT. We've got Reed coming through who looks like a genuine halfback, it's natural for him unlike JC who imo is still learning that position & might be a trap right now at 900k. All this goes out the window if there's someone elite realistically available to us.

Imo nailing recruits for positions that we know we're lacking would be a good move this off-season. Imo a good winger, rep quality starting prop & potentially a fullback as Gutho replacement. Exciting times with all the youngsters coming through & good experienced players too. We've backed in the coach which provides stability for the team, got some experienced heads with recruitment & FO.

For the first time in a LONG time, I feel like we're planning for sustained long term success rather than just taking it year by year.
