Even though I think Reed and Ah Kee have higher ceilings than LKT it’s an important retention.
LKT’s ability to isolate his Backrower 1v1 has come on leaps and bounds from late last year to this year, he can only get better in time as well.
Id love to know what they told him or what he was promised when he signed the extension with us because the Atkinson signing takes away one of the halves spots immediately for the next few years.
Lastly, it’s just good to see young talent deciding to stick around as they obviously can see a future with us, that kind of belief is contagious and I think it’ll contribute to Finau Latu staying.

This, and I cant stress enough, is the most pleasing part by a mile. People wanting to be at our club again, particularly juniors, been a long time.

I don't know too much about him other than the good things that I've heard said about him, and he went from SG Ball to first grade in one season but it's so good to have all these young players locked up. This one might even be bigger than Latu. Not because he's a better player but because there is so much depth coming through in the forwards. Going to have to let some of them go.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we see LKT transition into a centre to be honest. Bigger frame then people realise with a strong running game. Also played some games in the back row for flegg if I remember correctly. In a few years he’ll be a great 14.

First time ive seen this Hugo Savala kid, 23yrs old, off contract Nov 1st.. surely hes too good for reserve grade.. big kicking game pretty damn accurate, kid has 1yr in cup and 2 games in the nrl.. already looks comfortable.. maybe they will play him outside Walker? Dunno feels like something has to give there..

Ai, tigers dont deserve Tyrell May, they prob got him for unders also, tbf there was risk at the time over his ability, attitude and character.. I believe it was also Tyrell who told Galvin where to go after he was asked to address the group last week also.
But I was thinking that the Couchman(s) might be our Mays.. not in terms of character but in terms of insane workrate.. just need a few yrs to hit peak.. if Ryan was fit we r flying this year.. we could definnitely afford a Latu or Tonga for impact if we had 2 Couchmans in our 17.

Yes it is great that Toby can hit out 60+ mins with ease and it’s all high quality as well.
Hopefully Ryan can replicate that next year.
Dylan Egan only just starting out but looks like he can play big mins as well based on what we’ve seen so far in Reggie’s and first grade.
That’s reassuring if there’s any injuries in game + makes it easier to blood Loko/Latu this year by giving them the last 15/20 mins of the first or second half knowing the other boys can go big minutes if required

Saints are in 8th spot with a respectable +20 for and against. Let’s hope we can stay there !
Moses was back for eels and they beat the tigers. One of the tigers players was sent to the bin and a Parramatta player followed him and taunted him, they made contact—-and he went to the bin as well. But eels hung on.
Last year when Saints played Manly at Brookvale, Kyle was sent to the bin. DCE followed him and gave him roasting on his way to bin.
Kyle should have confronted him and DCE might have gone to the bin as well !

I think we were offering more than the Dogs, but Gus got in his ear with his "do u wanna be a bulldog?" I dont talk money" chat.. very frustrating, im very unsure about the other guys coming through, Halangahu I believe he was after previously, but im not certain yet his game will adapt to 1st grade, Tonga will get there but I dont know what his ceiling it.. CST maybe.. DMeafou maybe... Latu was the one.. but anyway.. we move on.. but rly sucks the joy out of the year for me, and I think it wont help NSW Cup comradery either... but again it is what it is..
