Bold decisions will be made during this proposed shake up of the playing group and coaching staff including Ben Haran I hope.

In my opinion no one should be free from being queried and if they don't reach the level of competence in any assessment, by those making these decisions, then no extensions or new contracts will be granted. The decision of Flanagan is the critical one. To terminate or allowed to continue for the rest of this year then who he wants to turf out and who to re-sign and who to get.

Just my opinions.

Thanks. I thought he was still part of the furniture. When I asked the question on the search engine, it said he was sacked or stood down after the reference he gave.

I know what you are alluding to GCRV. The position that JM would play in is the one who has played in it this year with the initials DA and he should displace the guy with the initials KF next year if SF brings KF back on the weekend and keeps him there for the rest of the year.

Would work to get him for this year but I think Reed is going to be halfback next year if not later this year.

I would love that. But I doubt it will happen.

I haven't seen McLean play fullback, but I would back him to be a success there. He is a special player. He isn't off contract until the end of 2028 and I doubt Penrith will release him early. Right now I rate him better than Crichton and would be picking him for NSW. If Crichton is fit, then it will most likely be out of Mitchell of McLean for the left centre spot. Turbo is another option.

Sharp at 5/8 or fullback would also be great, but he isn't contracted until the end of 2028 and I doubt Newy will let him go. They would probably let Ponga go before Sharp who's contract expires at the end of next year. Ponga is injury prone, but that may not stop either Easts or Canterbury going big for him. I would be picking Sharp on the bench for NSW as he can cover any position from 1 to 6.
