Bird being dropped is correct. Not so Toby Couchman. The team will have a little gas in the tank with Burns replacing BMM and playing for 80min. It might mean JDB gets a rest and BMM comes on to replace him.
According to the website, they are resting Jack Bird because "he requires freshening up"

Frank Molo has ample size. He's one of the biggest players in the competition.
They just can't get the selections right. Keep Couchman in the 17, drop BMM. Recall Musgrove and drop any of the middle forwards but de Belin. That team won't win the premiership but it's the best we got right now.

18 and in first grade is almost unheard of for a forward.
Illusion says he has a feeling we are going to win. If Penrith rests all or most of their Origin players, I think we are a chance. With all the noise about replacing Yeo and Luai in the Origin team and even Cleary getting critisized, I think they might want to back up.
