A very sad night, Dolphins create club history in that 50 point win.

Simple game RL, if your forwards don't lay the platform you are going to struggle and simply cannot compete.
You simply cannot afford to start a game with your 2nd tier forwards especially Lawrie. It may be time to start LPT in the run on just to provide some size in our bookends.
Flanagan is no 7, Katoa definitely is. Flanagan, 8 runs for 33m, LKT, 7 runs for 41m. Katoa, 29 runs, 186m, Nikorima, 10 runs for 85m
I thought LKT went ok but needs to be paired with a genuine 7 otherwise his development will stall.
Also our lack of speed in the backline was exposed tonight.
There has to be changes otherwise AFB and co will have a field day next weekend at our local derby.

Luciano I can live with as he has good hands and can create chances. Lawrie: FMD, better off with a young bloke in the 17 and giving them 20-30 mins and build them up slowly. They definitely won’t let the team down and their fitness would put Lawrie to shame. So over this garbage

Commentators were having a laugh at Lawrie. It looked like he was moving in slow-motion.
Mate I don’t like putting shit on any first grader cause to play at that level they are way above average Joe but for the life of me I just don’t understand how Lawrie has got away with this for so long

I think the end often comes for these "effort players" quite suddenly. One season they are good but in the following season the game has passed them by. I think this is what has happened to Blake.
2024 was hard to watch for him. This year is another level down. Sad for the bloke who clearly loves the club and jersey but this can’t go on anymore.
That would be great but realistically Sele and Guler will be the next 2 to come back in

With the injury toll in the forwards, we have excuses. But there is no excuse for the lack of line speed or the uneven line with some moving up and others standing still creating holes everywhere. They also took full advantage of Cook in the centres.

I agree the forwards need to make meters , but gee our lot are way too slow doing things , playing the ball Lawrie always gets rolled over ...... Said before the game has changed need big fast Athletic players that can step (not just run in a straight line) right across the park ....... Then 3 players that are quick thinking and can control the game ....... The Power game that Flanno is trying to play is done and dusted ........ Their young half had a field day ........ Where do we go from here ? I'd be trying Gutho at 7 , Holmes at fullback , Suli although he doesn't do it for me , in the centre with Allan if available , Cook to lock , Liddle to start the game at 9 ........ Definitely need to try something , because it ain't working ........
