I've always thought he has the game for a hooker and interchange utility coming on to play hooker. Why not? Runs a bit, tackles well, passes well but doesn't dig into the line, kicks a bit, organises a bit. In theory isn't he a perfect hooker?

My view is that because KF has to play game manager which he has never been if he were to revert to his original reason for being signed he would actually be 3rd in the hooker / utility back pecking order. On form it should be Liddle/Cook/KF, and we can't have that, can't we.

If he plays well, which I expect he will, what is the club going to do with all the backrowers? Leilua may as well start packing his bags and wouldn't surprise me if they tell Su'A he can go to Redcliffe a year early if he likes.
Maybe Leilua moves into the prop rotation for the rest of 2025??

hope so.. was really my 1 big complaint from last week, play him and let Toby start in the middle.. dont have the luxury of losing our best middle like that.. and Nick is well old enough.. unfortunately we dont have his contract sorted yet but thats something we can sort later.
Bit pi$$ed Val is in origin squad, I thought he was being dropped.. we rly cant afford to lose him against the Sharks, assume Kyle will kick.

Is RFM still out? He only needs to do limited minutes with Luciano... can play Halangahu if we absolutely have too.. but I think hes in blues camp.. so that would be a big call to blood him this week.

I’m assuming Sele and Guler come into the 17. Nick for Val but swap sides with Suli.

I think it’s happening jo. To be fair the team is extremely thin out wide. No CT, Feagai, Allen and Val away for origin. Guess they’ve been playing him at Centre for cup. Some people blow up that Flanno makes no changes then he takes a gamble on the young bloke and still people are blowing up. You know better than most on here that coaches live and die by the sword. Let’s see what eventuates Thursday night

He is going to have his hands full either with Ramien or Iro. These kids just want to play 1sts and rightly so. If they are good enough and depending on the situation then I'm all for it but what I have seen of him so far in his development he will found out for pace against quality centres and of course the actual pace of the game but of course I wish him well.
To be honest I never thought he would debut as a centre but I guess Flanno has made that call. Tough debut indeed

He should be immune from criticism if he has a Barry Crocker against the sharks considering he’s a backrower and who fills in at centre when necessary
