How many of these young guys over the last 15 years have gone on and played with us at top grade ....... We don't even have a number 7 after all this time ....... Anyway respect your opinion mine differs he is another that has been there for Zonks ........ Said it many times before the place needs eradication from the top ........ Let's hope we do start to improve and we can somehow snag a win against the Sharks .......

To be honest, I have no idea. If Flanno is the one taking care of recruitment and retention, what is Millard's job? Likewise, if whoever is in charge of pathways, what is Millard's job? Is he some sort of go-between? I just don't know.

You are absolutely right but as far as I know, this is Millard's second season on the job. Something went drastically wrong with recruiting and retaining juniors but seem to be on the right track now. I don't know who to credit for the situation now or who to blame for how it has been for a while until now.

And you hit the nail on the head there Ed, no one knows who is conducting business, what is Harran's involvement in all this ? Hence the loss of Latu and a few other poor directions and decisions we have made. I thought that in Latu's case it was his manager, sided with Flanno, but now it looks like the club is at fault through its incompetence. And I firmly believe we cant afford to be incompetent, I guess its just the way it is at the Dragons.

100%, even at $400k what has he done to get us anywhere, he was brought in as a 14 and if he was playing there we would say maybe he is giving us some value, but as a 7 or 6 no way in hell. Both him and his father know the score when you are playing in the halves, there is no hiding or excuses, its results driven or you are out of there, but in this case, it's not is it ?Ok, that's it. And whilst I don't fancy Hynes, you will see a clear cut of class tonight, I hope we win but unfortunately I can see us getting flogged simply because we don't have a proper managing halfback, what we have is the coach's son who is on a lot less money than 90% of all the other halfbacks, so we shouldn't complain. Maybe there is some truth to "you get what you pay for !!!"

I'm not even saying he's worse than Ilias. Well, I wasn't until now. Fox Sport looking to make excuses for Flanno at every opportunity. Even if we don't have better options, whose fault is that? Flanno wanted nothing to do with Bud Sullivan even with Tigers willing to pay most of his contract. I know Bud is a rubbish halfback but I still think he goes ok at 5/8.
Manager will ask for an upgrade once he's established or push for a release. Very difficult to find value because nrl allow for contract changes.

A big local derby, both coming off very poor performances last week. The Sharks have the wood on us winning 9 of the last 10. It's been 5 yrs since we got the better of them.
I do expect a bounce back from our non appearance against the Dolphins. The best I am hoping for is a more competitive performance. The punters have piled on the money on the Sharks into $1.23 favourite.
AFB was quiet last week so im expecting a big performance from him. We need to restrict his go forward. Good luck to our debutant NT, play hard, play well, up against Ramien is a tough ask, but you have to start somewhere in your career, I'm sure he will wear the big red V with pride and do his best.
