I know the weather had a lot to do with it, and the Raiders were terrible, but gee we put in and we dug deep, credit where credit is due, well done lads, bloody well done !!
Bluddy heck Jd we may just jag a spot. But not holding our breath as we have been inconsistent again this season.Mathematically RVH
My wish came true. You little ripper. Beating the comp leaders. They couldn't score a try in the second half. If we can beat the Raiders we can beat any team. Come on Dragons with all your injuries etc you did really well tonight. The victory song in the sheds will be loud and strong.Raiders live wire centre Timoko has got to be watched in the second half. He can dart through two limp defenders just as we saw in the first half. Both tries scored from within our red zone. Got to also keep a close eye on Weekes. He has blistering pace and with the wind behind him in the second half he will be flying.
The weather evened out the first half but our defence let us down in the end.
I would love us to jag a win tonight to get away from the spoon. Not that I wanted Penrith to win but I'm glad the Titans lost sop that they are keeping below us on the table.
I didnt want to say it lol.. but i was fine with the decisions.. were having a rly hard time getting over their line without Val, Sua etc.. Leilua is almost the only one who can create in this situation.God it frustrates me when we take the 2 sometimes, such a negative archaic tactic
Games aren’t low scoring anymore and we barely get in the red zone
Go for the try FFS
They were absolutely awful.. Fogarty in particular.. he didnt handle the conditions well at all and it rly nullified the huge kicking disparity between the 2 teams.. he had that 1 good low kick into touch from a kick off... but otherwise nothing.. and Kyle kicking those 2 brutal kicks from out wide was the difference...I know the weather had a lot to do with it, and the Raiders were terrible, but gee we put in and we dug deep, credit where credit is due, well done lads, bloody well done !!

Can only do your best with what you got and play what's in front of you. We did both and came out on top (for once!).They were absolutely awful.. If they had of won after playing that badly.. I would have been gutted...
Tbf we rly only win when other teams play awful.. well certainly when we r playing injured... id back us at full strength to compete with most... but we still got it done.. and were playing without 10 players or so, Val in particular is so savage to be missing.. hes our only real xfactor..
Three forwards, inc Jack 100m plus. Boy are we gonna miss his weekly input and impact. Bloody Flanagan not backing him for another year.
Sometimes you just sit and wonder do you savour the win and have a few coldies to celebrate or should I look for a negative. I'm halfway through a 6 pack but that's just me I like to celebrate especially during tough times.Always good when you can find a negative after a good win, keep kicking that dog.

Two best today were Hamish Stewart and JDB. Complimented with a bit more creativity in the halves and a bit more speed in the backs, Hamish Stewart is gonna ba a superstar. Might be even better than Couchmans.Three forwards, inc Jack 100m plus. Boy are we gonna miss his weekly input and impact. Bloody Flanagan not backing him for another year.
I was pulling my hair out when in the last 3 min Canberra dropped the ball backward on the 5th tackle. Sloan furiously competed with the Canberra player to dive on the ball and predictably got a touch to knock it forward and give them another 6.Sloans ability to get a hand on a ball without catching it though is the stuff of legend.. the amount of 6agains he gives opposition teams.
Stewart was great but wasn't on long enough to be MoM in my view. I think Cook probably gets it. LKT would have been right in contention if it wasn't for that second Canberra try when he needlessly rushed in to tackle Fogerty. Two best today were Hamish Stewart and JDB.
