People are starting to question all the hype that went on in the pre-season and now what gets dished up in the first 5 rounds. Surely its embarrassing for the Dragons not to do something. They delayed it last week and look at what they got this week.

Next week Tommy T and Koula will destroy us out wide. Throw in Paseka up front, Hamole on the edge and Fogarty’s boot and we are farked again.

I would rather Talau be given the top job than Arthur, but the mail is Dean Young will be the one to take the top job, if Flanno is sacked.

I'm going to nominate standouts in a bad way. Those who were really bad.

• Gutho (He has declined so fast. Who saw this coming?)
• Holmes (Offered nothing in attack. Coach still picking him on the wrong side! What is he thinking?!)
• Suli (He had a few runs.)
• CT (How many missed tackles did he have? And few run metres?)

Honourable mention to the halves though I hope they get another chance net week. LKT needs to look to run the ball more!! Stop the with the Kyle BS of turning it back in for an inside runner!

I was pretty sure before tonight's game that King Togia isn't first grade material. Now I am certain about it. Reed should have been picked to start the year. I think things would have been a lot different if Reed had been playing all year. I would have brought Reed on for King Togia when Cotter got sin binned.

I'm usually among the most aggressive when it comes to promoting young players into a struggling team. The way Flanno took so long to give Egan a chance and the way he kept Couchmans in NSW Cup so long in 2024 was criminal incompetence in my opinion. But for Reed, no, not in this team. Give him at least half a season in a our winning Cup team.

Yes you are right Eric. No use bringing Reed in even though we are desperate. Reed is a special case to keep under wraps a lot longer and that will be invaluable for him and the Dragons in the long run. It is no use bringing him in when the chips are really down as that will bring him down as well and that will dent his progress.

Was at the game they said wave the red, which the fans did, only problem is the players waved the White..
Haven't seen the replay but can anyone confirm if we should have received a penalty try, when Atkinson made the break and passed to Gutho who got tackled about 10m out and Cookie scooted from dummy half and was tackled centimeters from the tryline and the ref blew 6 again for a player tackling Cookie who was offside, why no penalty try? Refs happy to give penalty try in the Parra game with players around the ball..
Also the Purdue first try, did he knock the ball forward and regathered to score the try isnt that an intentional knock on.
Was at the game and the replay wasnt the best on the shitty big screen, not that these would have made a difference but just want people opinions

It was quite apparent to me before the season began that it was going to be an incredibly hard ask for Atkinson to become something he has never been. The last 2 games confirms my thoughts

Reed has played 3 NSW Cup games. Bring him into this rabble and it will scar him mentally. Give him at least half a season in NSW Cup.

I have seen players still at school play first grade in year's gone by. If Reed had been picked to start the season, we may be in a completely different situation. I said, if I was Flanno and coaching for my career, I would have been playing my best halfback option all year. Flanno is keeping him in cotton wool and sacrificing his own career in the process. He has also been picking his son and sacrificing his own career in the process

Very much agree mate, we have no one in the side who can counter other teams speed, no one. Flanno only has himself to blame for recruiting the type of player that does not suite todays game. Even in the PC today Payten said he had to adapt his team to suite.Flanno is still living in LaLa land.

i see that point too Eric ... ONeills injury doesnt help ...
A new coach would help and some gameplan. You can encourage reed and let him know that he will get targetted and will hurt but needs to get to speed.
Tough one ... if he is good enough he would survive that and potentially drag a few along with him for the ride ...

Right now Jake/Loko and others being criminally neglected ... Maybe a total change like that with Reed and others will help.

We continue like this we lose games but more critically risk losing players we dont want to lose.

Every team will target King Togia as long as he is picked and Kyle offers very little in attack and that is being polite.

When Gutho tried to get across to tackle Franks favourite player when he scored his first try, god that was painful. It was the first time I realised Gutho has to go immediately. Pick Sloan at fullback. He probably would have missed the tackle but at least he would have been able to attempt it.
