4 who have struggled badly all played ok. Not more than ok. Personally I'm not looking much into it but that's just me. Gold Coast simply couldn't get away with missing a few of their best players. After a terrible 2025 Lawrie was good off the bench. Ran hard and didn’t turn over the ball.
And that's why I always am saying our attacking structures, not as in the past under McGregor and Griffin where I use to say attacking structure. There must always be variations to any attacking structures.I liked the way they changed up their attack by not using Gutho out the back all the time.
By hitting the front man & cutouts had the titan defenders in two minds.
No doubt they would’ve trained to expect Gutho to get the ball all the time.
Titans are not the measuring stick. We did ok against the Dogs so with natural improvement we are still a hope of sneaking into 8th come September but that relies heavily on our engine room at the very least avg 40-45m per set as happened last night. Time will tell. Sea Eagles away will be a better measuring stick .I'm actually shocked at how good our attack is in the opposition 20. We just need to get more opportunities. Maybe the current bench composition can be an advantage for us on other teams moving forward.

Agree with this mate. Looks to be lacking confidence with ball in hand, tho not tackling. Channel that willingness into his attack and he will do me. But like you say, he needs to step it up pretty soon as the chief play maker is the most scrutinized player in the side.Ilias still very tentative to take the line on
It's bizarre. Nothing wrong with Cooks game but Liddle needs to be on for longer.Watched full replay yesterday and jeez how is Cook keeping Liddle from the starting hooker spot. He has been moderate and that is being generous.
Don't care about running. Want him or Flanagan to do some ball playing. As is, the other teams know about 20 minutes on advance if they are going to pass, kick or rum themselves.Agree with this mate. Toby is in my top 3. Egan has yet to convince me he is better than Sele, Eisenhuth or Stewart.2. Egan
He has two plays that drive me crazy. His turning ball back inside for the receiver to be crunched and his bloody dummying in traffic when a try is on.Flanagan
Prob his best of five games, but no more than 7/10 from me. Yes Liddle definitely should be given more mins. Say how bout 40-40 each. Odd too that Flanno keeps Cook on even when Liddle enters the fray.Nothing wrong with Cooks game
Serious?Toby is in my top 3. Egan has yet to convince me he is better than Sele, Eisenhuth or RFM.
Been saying the same mate , if Liddle keeps getting little game time we will lose him ....... Cook will be older next year Liddle better and younger ......Watched full replay yesterday and jeez how is Cook keeping Liddle from the starting hooker spot. I may be on the outer, but my opinion. Watch him closely as I did mostly in first half. He is a harder runner than two of the those guys but his defense is no better. He plays big mins, prob too many while his try was from a immaculately timed pass from Ilias. That was a bit of ball play we need to see a lot more from him, had a touch of Widdop about it. He also made a scything run with 20 mins to go. Like to see more of this too as he is nippy on his feet.Serious?
