This first half wipeout isn't a bad thing as long as NSW win game 3. Luai isn't the player he was. I guess it's because he's playing halfback in club football. King, the Bulldogs prop is way out of his depth. Mitchell and Lomax need to calm down. Stop giving away absolutely needless penalties or set restarts.

I was thinking Utoikamanu is very overrated. Even from the Melbourne games I've watched I thought that. Runs too upright and tacklers get under him and drive him back again and again. Now the media have picked up on it too. He must be gone from game III and better change something about the way he runs or he won't be in anymore rep games. Glad to see Melbourne making a recruitment blunder. Keaon Koloamatangi has to come in, Tyrell May might do more work but NSW have enough hard workers in the team.

Next year NSW will probably need:
A new fullback. Edwards has been good for a long time but isn't the tackle breaking machine he once was.
Same might be true for To'o on the wing.
Barnett for King and someone for Utoikamanu. So a new prop. I'd say both Couchmans will be in the mix if they stay healthy.
Liam Martin is the same as Edwards. Not quite the player he once was.
I thought the Tigers hooker, Korosau was already the best hooker in the competition but I think he's older than Robson so Robson might be around for a bit yet.
So the only possibly inclusions I see next year are the Couchmans. They'd be very hardy inclusions in the bench with their all-round forwards game.
