I had high hopes Hook would do something similar with the Dragons. His letting McInnes go in pretty much his first act encouraged me greatly. Not because I agreed but because he showed a ruthless side. But since he has merely done everything he can to support the Broncos U20s team from 15 years ago and nothing for St George Illawarra!

Tough gig coaching NRL. Comparison Dragons v Roosters development of their young stars Sualli for Roosters because they allowed him time and resisted the temptation to rush him look at him now. Now compare that to our young stars who actually delivered us a premiership what a mess, Amone over coached, Sullivan in and out, Feagai's similar, Sloan feel devastated for him. Now that is the coaching staff and structure that we have in place. One is professional the other ad hoc and lets just sack everyone because it's their fault are juniors are dissolutioned. Sad but in my view true.

Perfectly summed up. I remember Josh Ado Carr was a fringe first grader at the Tigers, went to Melbourne and the rest is history. I can see something similar happening with Sloan.

Now there is no chance of reaching the finals, surely he'll give Sloan a chance at fullback while Ramsey is injured. Moga is off contract so surely he'll give Max Feagai a chance. And the big one, McCullough's NRL career is over! He's played more than 300 games! But still Griffin can't accept he's no longer NRL standard. Any normal coach would give Muhleisen a chance but this one will stick with McCullough no matter what.

And the big one, McCullough's NRL career is over! He's played more than 300 games! But still Griffin can't accept he's no longer NRL standard. Any normal coach would give Muhleisen a chance but this one will stick with McCullough no matter what.

He'll fight for Macca to the death of his coaching career.

I don't know much about other teams but I doubt the Panthers. Remember the NSW Cup GF is a week before the first grade GF and then the 2 winners from the QLD Cup and NSW Cup play each other on GF day. So at least several Panthers players won't be available for the NSW Cup GF as they'll be reserves for first grade.

Minimal chance, I'd say. But I'm perhaps overly optimistic. Flegg are right up there. When the players come back from NSW Cup, they are going to be very hard to beat.
