I thought Klemmers opening stint was good, in defence and good hitups, we started well good line speed but we cant maintain that for 80minutes.
Too many errors by us, too many offloads from Tigers and we let so many of their players play the ball from a standing position never put them on the ground which was basically having us on the back foot from tackle to tackle..

Was going to make very similar points but completely agree and its nice to see you focusing on the positive side Red, particularly our juniors. Once again we killed ourselves with our errors, constantly putting pressure on ourselves on the line even after winning the field position battle. I wont even bother mentioning Sua cause the poor bastards never gonna live that down, and its easy to say that alone wins the game for us but we have to stop putting ourselves in shithouse positions letting in points off our own errors. Also given I view most of the drops/changes being based around players defensive issues and effort areas so far we may well see Lawson get his crack next week after Sloans night out.

Was a much better performance against arguably a better team than last week. LKT made that mistake in the first half and then seemed to go into his shell. But I still thought he outplayed his opposite number and fellow teenager.

Stewart is a 13 (or nothing I feel), Latu is destined to be a prop.. we are screaming out for someone of his body size, but 1-2yrs ahead in development.. but it matters not.. seems like hes gone once cooling off expired.

Unfortunately without Ryan, we are going to be running backs against the wall all year, seems like Toby needs a rest also but we can barely put a team on the paddock if we lose him too... Gosh Guler has been dissapointing.. we can ill afford that also.. interesting to see how Sele goes tomorrow, but hes had a huge period out of the game.

Stewart reminds me of a young JDB, simple real hard runs and really good defensive technique its enjoyable watching him develop. Like you said hope Sele does well tomorrow cause we'll need him soon, whether he's fit enough for next week or Loko gets his chance will be interesting cause Guler will likely be out for a few weeks minimum if it was a dislocation and I dont want to see Lawrie back for a while.

That dropped ball was a bit like when Trent Barrett once dropped the ball over the line when he looked certain to score. Except this time the opposition picked up the ball and ran the length of the field to score.

All we need now is a repeat of Nathan Brown/Trent Barrett slapping incident.

Should have won the game though. At least they showed some attacking endeavour in the second half.

But this is team that has forgotten how to win !

I'm pretty upbeat after that performance. I think we outperformed them in a few key areas like run meters, defensive technique but our poor goal line decisions & attempts led to tries. Holmes misread, Sloan feeble tackling attempt & obvs sua dropped ball. Some parts were good in attack but felt we went too sideways a few times.

Stewart will become a gun lock, saw a little bit of his ball playing today. I though JDB should've played a few more mins, LKT had some very good moments. Liddle & Luch off the bench changed a bit of momentum. WT did chance their arm on 5th tackle when we rushed them & also their early shifts out wide. It paid off today but risky.

Sloan & Guler aren't 1st grade standard both should be dropped. Either Finau or Lawson for Sloan & LPT for Guler.

What’s happened to Gutho the last 2 games? Blokes been spacejammed

The young guys are the silver lining tonight, LKT/Egan/Stewart all impressive

Emre Guler has been really poor so far, i think we may see Loko next week and maybe Sloan dropped as well,!Suli and Sua have probably been the 2 I’m most disappointed in so far this year, they just haven’t put in anywhere near the level they were last year

Shit result but not the end of the world, LKT showed what he can do and needs to be given the reigns more against the warriors

We all seem to gloss over what a poor defender Sloan is, there were 2 trys he could have stopped and showed no desire to get stuck in. Flanno is starting to look like a broken man in the pressers and once again we have more questions than answers with where this team is going. I cant see them going anywhere the top 8, probably closer to the bottom 4. We have a few glimmers of hope but how they perform in a losing side over the rest of the season will define them. I'm tired of being nearly half way through the comp and knowing that we are virtually no chance of making finals.

Better performance that last week but still a loss. That is 5 from 8 matches. Bad record for our over rated coach.

How did you guys rate LKTs debut. Any signs of a lasting combo with Flanagan who gave us his usual moderate fare. Val must have had a biggie, about 250m, mediocre in comparison from Allan. Is he better than Finau coach? Toby ran and tackled himself to a standstill as usual with good contributions from Stewart and Egan. Jacks numbers tells me he had an off nite or too few mins. Guler injured opens the door for someone. Is big Loko ready for a debut off the bench.
