Its a flashback to 2 weeks ago when we had a full discussion of Luch apparently having horrible stats and being terrible when he had probably his best game for us, to then admit not watching it yet and afterwards came back with a very different opinion. Ill be interested if the same thing happens cause Luch was fine and provided good impact. All I'm saying is you cant paint a picture off stats alone and its not worth getting yourself worked up until you watch the game and get your own thoughts together. It's not a dig eiterh , I've done the exact same thing missed games in the past and had mates messaging me telling me about it or gone on social media (Facebook at the time, stay away from those nutbags) and made myself super angry only to watch and think to myself what on earth were they on about.

Yea all good figured and yea he certainly is, I think theres a spot for him to fill a gap but not sure the best way to play him yet. Yea absolutely re LKT, and look at the flip side if that flick out the back pays off for a try its a hero play on magic round and he has all the confidence in the world, hes got the skill just needs to keep backing himself.

If he is allowed to. I use to get those young stars from U21 that stepped up to Ressies on their way hopefully to 1sts. I use to stress to those individuals in my one on one talks.
Don't forget what got you here, you are going to make mistakes, you are going to feel more fatigued, the opposition is going to be a greater quality. Just back yourself im not going to hook you if you make a couple of errors in your first games with me. Quality advice that we used to love hearing from the good coaches/leaders, its amazing what some confidence can do and sometimes it literally only takes one play to find some form. I do hope he backs himself and it wouldve been nice hearing that support in the presser as well.
What are your thoughts on Sloan, I struggle to see him holding his spot after those defensive efforts, think Lawson get his shot next week?

Sloan needs to go , Suli can join him or try him on the wing , Allan ( what he lacks in pace makes up with smarts ) to centre Lawson to wing , Cook isn't doing it for me , Liddle needs more game time KLT stays at 6 or 7 maybe Gutho in the halves Holmes to Fullback we have options, it's not working so try something else ........

Trust me mate, Finau Latu as a prospect is better than all the young prospects you are watching in first grade now. He is the #1 middle forward in the 2006 age group and their is a reason the 2 best operators in rugby league chased him so hard.
It’s just negligent to speak badly of him because he’s leaving, he’s a gem and a big loss. We are fortunate their are a few promising forwards coming through unlike 5-6 years ago when we had very little forwards to be excited about

Quiet debut by LKT but the kid has promise.
Terrific last 30, we were in it up to our necks. Great team try to get us to 20. Gotta feel for JS, his knee dislodged the ball as he was about to dive.
Why was Jack given so few mins coach. Didnt see him injured. Some bagging Guler, worked his bum off before he went off injured. Looks like his shoulder, wud've been fine if he was wearing the old fashioned shoulder pads.
Like to see more of us looking for second phase play, ala Toby whose offloading is our benchmark.

For those not aware our Flegg thrashed the Tigers 56-18. That may inject some life into their season. Interested in how Ilias goes in Ressies.
Klemmer finally took off the handbrake and barrelled through the defensive line. Loved it. That's what we need from him.
Stewart could be anything. Defensively he's very very good already & showed great attack last night too.
Brandy was correct that you need to hit Stewart hard if you want to stop him. Athletic, powerful, great defence with strong carries & a bit of ball playing. What makes him unique is his high footy IQ.

Look the problem with Sloan is he is trying to learn from Gutho how to play fb again. He is playing like an old style, back in my day winger was taught to play. Wingers are asked to do much more work these days including being involved and taking the early hit ups, I don't see that with Sloan at the moment. Defensively he seem to struggle to read the opposition plays. It's like his mind isn't 100% on the job for the full 80 min.
What I have seen from Lawson in ressies this season and I've watched every game is that he is still coming to grips with RL and what his job is. He's not ready for 1sts yet. Just my views.

Whilst we are still a chance to make the 8, I hope our best team is selected. However, should it come to the stage where we cannot make the 8, and the season becomes an audition for 2026, I would like to see LKT paired with Ilias in the halves for a couple of first grade games and Glover paired with K Flanno for a couple.

I just think having Kyle in the team puts pressure on him and Flanno snr and negatively affects the performance of both. It can't be nice for either, Flanno snr having to front the media and explain why Kyle hasn't been dropped like he did last week.

I agree 100% Eric. Plus, young Flanno is probably the most scrutinised player on the field. I have noticed that when the ball is just being passed in his direction, I am looking at possible options he could take and hoping he does not take the wrong option.

Mate I understand your frustration. But in my view you simply can't be making those type of changes you have suggested. I can tell you from personal experience if the coach starts to lose his composure and panics that quickly spreads throughout the team and club. You have to hold your nerve and speak one on one to those players who are not doing their assigned jobs. Put them on notice and make measured changes as required. Just my views.

we can easily accommodate Latu's salary of $320k per year that the dogs supposedly are paying and also Hamish who is on a the 2nd year of a 4 year deal if memory serves me correct, so no issue, we are paying Lawrie, Sele way more and they offer nothing currently..
