Hoping we can get some staff on soon that are looking at recruitments, cause im convinced flanno doesnt have the brainspace to map out the options from each club and do the due diligence / groundwork to chase them.. I just suspect he is too busy, and I think we need to go after 15 players if we want to land 1 or 2 basically.. but we have to be on the ball to pull it off.. 1 sweet-talk conversation from any of the big name coaches and its good night for our chances.

I want Scott Fulton in, he’s elite

Heard a bunch of good things about him by people who actually know what’s going on behind the scenes at tigs and manly rather than what the media print out

Look at Manly pre and Post Fulton, their an absolute shambles and their pathways which used to be great for a very small area is now awful

Too many fragile Ego’s and people who don’t want to be embarrassed by giving people a job who are much better at it than they have shown to be

Statements like these really grind my gears, I bet you’ve never even seen Mooney play

I never advocated for JDB to be let go without knowing if Klemmer/RFM would be kept on for one more year otherwise losing JDB and keeping them looks stupid

Need I remind you Jamie Soward was playing Reggie’s when we signed him

I just cant believe its been over 12 mths since POS and havent been linked to anyone to handle recruitment, I dont know Fulton from a bar of soap, but if they are that scarce, give him a 12mth contract and give him a shot.. its like recruiting through deep mud when we just leave Flanno to do everything.. and assume Haran is of minimal help in this regard.

You are right. I haven't. He might be too good for reserve grade. But JDB should've been re-signed!

Though, you mean to say now they didn't want to re-sign JDB, they have to go to the market and outbid every other team for a prop? I was too quick to call him a reserve grader but if this is true, the question WTF is going on with this club needs to be asked.

I have been reading that the new CEO of the Dragons, Tim Watsford, has received many emails from members who have raised with him the subject of recruitment. He has advised that he "is working through the business and building an approach to long term success both on and off the field. There are many factors I am currently implementing and ensuring we secure our good Juniors is the number one priority as this is the key to unlock long term sustainable success the club deserves".

So evidence of this can be seen with many younger players having debuts in first grade as well as others moving up in grades including KOE Cup and on top of those players they have signed 16 year old Ollie Burton to the end of 2028 and there is a rumour or it has actually been done, the signing of 16 year old twins Cornelius and Alexander Pupualii from Penrith as mentioned above.

There is a line of thought the two Couchmans and Stewart are basically JDB mark II, III and IV. Would've been nice to see him play another year and retire b ut lets not get too worked up over it.

Twins are from the huge Panthers nursery, yes!

The pair had received calls from the Canberra Raiders, South Sydney Rabbitohs, Wests Tigers, Cronulla Sharks, and North Queensland Cowboys; however, they ultimately acknowledged the vision laid out by Flanagan and the Dragons. :D

Yeh like the vision our BOD and coach had for Finau Latu.
