No return to form for the boys as they were on the end of a 34 point hiding by the Sharks. They now find themselves in a desperate situation as they seem unable to break this losing streak. Their season is now in disarray with confidence no doubt at a low ebb and our coaching staff scratching their heads for answers.

Lets not get too worried just yet. A number of key players have moved up to NSW Cup but for the finals, they'll go back to Jersey Flegg. I think this might be the most popular thread until October.

Jersey Flegg is akin to our old U21 teams.

For the worse imo. The old U20s was telecast. You were able to back up your opinions on a particular player as we all saw them at close quarters. These days lucky to see 2 mins of a Flegg game. So no chance to determine a player's ability with so little to go on. Today's league fan is treated shamefully by the NRL.

I mentioned the other day about swapping Hunt for Tannah Boyd after I banged on about his masterclass back in his Junior Kangaroo days. Just found this Qld Cup footage from three years ago of the same man. Unlike what one member said, Boyd has not lost that natural ability he had for the J Ks. Benny would kill for some of his ball play. Titans have managed him poorly IMO.

I live in Gold Coast. He was highly regarded from juniors and into QLD Cup but has never kicked on in first grade. They tried him in the halves, didn't work out. Tried to turn him into a hooker, didn't work out. Tried to make some kind of playmaking forward coming off the bench, didn't work out.
