Talatau Amone put on a clinic in the Dragons’ 46-12 win over the Newtown Jets, setting up two tries, getting two linebreak assists and running for 151 metres. Although he did miss four tackles.

The 21-year-old was dropped from the NRL side last week after starting the two previous games from the bench. It was his fourth NSW Cup game of the season, having started the year there after his no-fault stand-down period was lifted.

setting up two tries,
I saw at least three set ups, there was a neat chip kick and two deft held up passes. He also had heavy involvement in at least two/three others. I had no idea Junior had these ball skills as he has not shown them in Firsts.

Yes, the one part of his game that is probably keeping him out of Firsts, still, if he can display those ball skills for us, get him in pronto in Sully's place. His defense is improving and will get even better. Sully should be in for Hunt who deserves the punishment of being dropped to Ressies for rest of the season.

Ressies good run comes to a end by the Raiders.

Flegg will be looking to extend their good late run at noon today.

· Lyhkan King-Togia debuted at halfback for the Dragons following a strong SG Ball Cup campaign with the Illawarra Steelers, and had a hand in two of their four tries. Late inclusion Jack Bird put together a strong second-half effort.

Our talent scouts have done a great job with the recruitment of these schoolkids from bananaland. Like Loko Junior this kid is being fast tracked as he allbut skipped Flegg, played only one or two games.

Corey Ackers is the first Reserve. This boy is moving thru the grades quickly too.

Not good. They've just gone further ahead, 14-0, while being a player down.

Bummer we did not get the points but won the second half.
16-4. Raiders were ranked five places ahead of us, so a good effort.
