Watched the two mins Flegg replay footage they kindly allow us of our huge win last week and there was one boy that impressed me with his ball skills. He was wearing 18, similar build to Sloan and looked of Pacific Island heritage. The way he put supports into space when in heavy defense was exceptional. Also who was our hooker. He looks a gun dummy half.

It was Sam Hooper or Declan Purcell. They have been alternating between hooker, bench, halves and NSW Cup all year. Now at the business end of the season, they have both gone back to Flegg in order to gear up for the finals as both NSW Cup and first grade are out of contention.

Flegg take on the third placed Tigers tonite at their home ground. They may be two points ahead of us but both respective for and against are similar.

A big, fast, hard running fullback with ball skills like Tom Turbo, Mitchell, Ponga, Tedesco would be nice. Tired of our light-weight fullbacks getting thrown around.

Looks like they are getting back to the team which was in smashing form from around round 5 to round 15. Looking good for a very serious run at the title.
The Flegg Dragons are finals bound after thrashing the Tigers 32-12.
The boys with their gun players back always held the whip hand and are now sitting equal 3rd with the team we just hammered by 20.

Do you know who is ahead on for and against?

Going into this match we were ahead with for and behind with against. Add those 32 points and they have now likely conceded more points than us. If we meet them in the final which seems probable then we will have the momentum. We certainly will have the confidence.
Don't know the for and against but the total has the Dragons in 3rd spot behind the Rorters and I guess next weeks opponent, Newcastle.

Yes it wont get any easier from here with us needing an even bigger effort against the Knights that are sitting pretty atop the table with the Roosters.

Not only are fans short changed when it comes to watching Jersey Flegg but also when it comes to stats. NSWRL website has all Ressie stats but neglects JF. So again we keyboard warriors remain in the dark when trying to ascertain the abilities or inabilities of players.

Not sure why Jackson Ford is unsigned as he rates well in most of the NSWRL Ressie stats unlike some of our more fancied forwards. Those in our Front Office trying to ignore Connor Mulheisen's credentials need to also take a look at the stats. For starters he is ranked the comp's third best defender, a prerequisite for today's hooker.

Hopefully coverage of the finals will be much better.
