Shame they lost this. The era of Sowie is almost at an end. The only question is whether it will end with the wooden-spoon.

Last round and last outing for Sowie. Will avoid the spoon unless they lose by a lot and Tigers win by a lot but still a bitterly disappointing season. To state the obvious.

Once again, this team is in a good position before letting in III tries in very quick succession.

Though Broncos are a good team in the NRLW. Big in the middle and fast in the outside backs. Even Frank Molo might find it hard to drag down some of the Broncos middles.

Congrats to the winners and just to rub salt into the wound the co-recipients winners are off to the Dogs....

The Dragons tonight celebrated the club's 2024 NRLW Awards in Wollongong with five players taking home silverware.
Alexis Tauaneai and Angelina Teakaraanga-Katoa were named co-recipients of the NRLW Player of the Year Award
Tauaneai, who made her NRLW debut for the club in Round 1 last year, led the team in runs (150), run metres (1,529), post contact metres (705), tackles (300) and offloads (19).
Teakaraanga-Katoa meanwhile played in all nine games for the second-straight year amassing career-highs in run metres (1,260) and tackles (262).
Teagan Berry took home the NRLW Red V Members Player of the Year having pieced together another standout campaign in the No.1 jersey.
The 22-year-old led the side in tries (8), line breaks (9), and tackle breaks (41) whilst again playing in every minute of the side's season.
Berry sits atop the club's all-time leaderboard in tries, points, and games played whilst still holding the competition's all-time try-scoring record.
Kasey Reh was named NRLW Emerging Talent whilst Jamilee Bright received the NRLW Coach's Award.
An NRLW Emerging Talent nod caps off a stellar 2024 for Reh who captained her Steelers to a Tarsha Gale Cup premiership in April and the Blues to an Under 19s Origin victory in June.
She was named both the Tarsha Gale Cup Player of the Series and the Women's Under 19s State of Origin Player of the Year.

A Western Suburbs Red Devils junior, Reh was handed an NRLW debut in Round 1 and went on to play in all nine games for the Red V scoring two tries and assisting on two others whilst spending time in the halves, at hooker, and at lock.

Bright also appeared in all nine of the side's clashes this season almost doubling her run metre total from a year ago and starting the final four games of the season in the front row.

Photos from the Night, No Jamie Soward by the looks of things, assistant coach handed out the coaches award...
If he didn't go because he wasn't going to be coaching next year, pretty poor form, considering how he goes on about the players and the support and he hand picked the squad blah blah blah..

Unfortunately you would have to guess he didn't attend or left early. I can't imagine a group photo, including managers, trainers and more but not the coach. He had a chance and blew it. He shouldn't be salty about it.
