GCRV
SGI NSW Cup
One on one defence was quite good. Attack was very poor. Still a chance at only 10-0 down.
To be brutally honest, it wasn't a good game at all against the Titans. The game plan, at least in attack seemed to be, "pass the ball to Berry".

I had a feeling Sowie is a bad coach.Sowie has just basically name the same squad all 22 players available.
This side won't take the field.
He is a terrible coach who is not well liked.
Expect another exodus of players years end and another building year to follow.
Consider this, we had no Origin players this year but there were 7 players in Origin that were former Dragons
Even all the Dragons halfs wanted nothing to do with him.
So that's why there was a such a high turnover. On Sunday they played like they had hardly trained together. Some good one on one defence made it a closer game than it should've been.Sowie has just basically name the same squad all 22 players available.

Berry is a gun but she doesn't look very happy. It's just out with Sowie as coach. He's gotta go.
The results on-field could hardly be worse. Coming 3rd last with 0-2 but lost to another struggling team, NQ last week. I didn't want the whole game last week but the week before against GC, they were a rabble. Defence was ok but attack was one out runs one pass off the ruck and then "pass to Berry" on the 4th.even though it sounds like a dire situation behind the scenes, I reckon Sowards future will depend on his on-field results.
Says we extended him for 2yrs this time in 2023, so assume thats end of 2025.
Agree, not a fan of his coaching, saying you have passion to coach the womens game, doesnt cut it for me, we have a good squad then 3/4's of them left, if it happens again, we are back to the drawing board again and questions need to be asked as to why, people know in the game, some needs to say it out loud.Soward is a dud, we lost our captain, team leader and Club ambassador because of him plus many other senior players.
Half the squad is from Excel Sports, John is strongly aligned to Dogs once they have NRLW team in next year all his players will go there.
The rebuild will start again.
Why is the club sticking with Soward? Has the disease the club caught after Bennett left (extending struggling coaches) spread to the NRLW side? If Dragons are coming last and finals are out of reach but score one good win, the coach is immediately extended.Soward is a dud, we lost our captain, team leader and Club ambassador because of him plus many other senior players.

I forgot all about last weeks game. Was surprised to see they won. An absolute rabble in the first 2 rounds.I find Maatuleio Fotu-Moala very shacky has a good hit up in her and gets some good PCM, but scares me when the ball comes to her, wouldnt mind seeing Alice Gregory seems to have some pace, may lack size.
