That’s why Finau latu isn’t gonna play first grade this year IMO, keeled over at marker after making a tackle and gets exposed with the dogs hooker scooting past him to score

wasnt sure who to blame there.. was a large gap I thought Tonga should have moved into it.
But these are the things most fans dont really pay attention too, and we cant afford to give up soft tries in 1st grade.

Sloan isn't a winger. Not in NSW Cup and definitely not in first grade. I think he'll end up in the ESL before the end of the year.

No structure with this halves combo. You need guys pushing for Firsts to be your deputy half, Glover is not FG standard.

Ramsey was good but once they get their hands on him, tend to treat him like a light-weight.
Halangahu hasn't really fired any shots but has shown he's not out of his depth.
Who else? Webster and Stone? Lawrie and Sele will hopefully take their spots soon.

Rava, Feagai and who are you talking about here. Was up to Lawson and edgie to cover the inside if Finau, if Sloan he was involved in the previous play. Agree he is not a wing, needs his hands on the ball to feel useful.

His size and power is wasted on the edge at this level. His coach needs to move him to the middle where he will have most impact.

Finau twice in 5min came in to at first tackle a player who was easily taken by his opposite number, must have been Lawson but Finau chose to come in and leave his winger unmarked anyway. Ramsey had to make a try saver. 5 min later rushed in to tackle thin air leaving their winger to score.
Also, just watching the replay of Grubs 3rd try, it looked like Sloan backed off the chase so he wouldn't be required to try to make a try saver. Nope, looks like Sloan has given it away. Lost motivation to try to make it as a winger.

I recall Ramsey made a similar run before his injury. Certainly lost none of his pace. No step but a decent swerve.

That was the one that he felt he had to come in on as Lawson or whoever had missed him byut he was too late. Still I too want all our wingers to stay on their man at all times, unless they positively know they can nail the inside man.
