ur gonna have to get it off the website, everyone will be moving to first grade now... shi*tty with Saifiti there, dropped it cold picking it up attacking their line, now wedre defending ours.. we will have to be perfect to play with 3 less men.. the dogs r very dangerous.

Jekyll and Hyde team our Flegg Jd. They have played some really good footy and some poor stuff too. Lacking consistency with their small pack so need some size and skill to be competitive every game next season. No Reed so coach Millard will want a new organiser too.

NSW Cup Notes (10-46 Loss):
  • Was multi-tasking this one with first grade.. helped ease the pain even though it wasnt a lot of fun with losses in every grade (bar NRLW).
  • Lot of 1st graders in the dogs squad and they just ran a bit hard for us, especially early.. even though we were in it for a long time (despite the scoreline).
  • Reeds first game of cup, he was up beat and talking.. the increase in speed and crispness of passing compared to Ilias and even Glover to an extent is quite noticeable.. I only saw him get to put up 1 kick (a bomb) cause Ilias was wanting to handle everything.. there was so much air time, nobody knew what to do.. he mostly offloaded and passed to his outside men, with some creativity but only ran himself once I think in the 79th minute... but he was promising, and I cant wait to see a preseason and a full year of cup for him... but cant imagine it wont be Glover back next week for finals if fit.
  • Williams had some moments.. 1 good try and almost had a 2nd, wish he'd backed himself.. 1 error but hes going good.. Lawson didnt touch the ball in the 1st half I believe which is outrageous.. gotta get in there.. the 2 centres of Haele and CST though is yuck yuck..
  • CST has gone off the boil a bit in the back half of the year, few errors in his game.. playing a few positions.. hopefully a good offseason for him also.. I think they all need it.
  • Noone else rly stood out.. was a bit of a disappointing game, need our forwards to start winning battles again to get this team moving forward.. but tbf our finals week 1 was locked in before this weekend.. so a bit of a nothing game...

Thanks Rev, my thoughts are that I would rather a team going into finals with good form rather than getting pasted, I'm sure the coach would have a few worries now seeing that effort, there would have been nothing wrong with repeating last weeks performance. Anyway lets see what we get in finals.
