Yeah I’ve seen enough to say he ain’t it, doesn’t have the personal drive + motor IMO. Looked like a good signing at the time and I was all for it but it was a swing and a miss, it happens sometimes.
Go take another swing on a Pahulu at the titans for 2026

Another in a long line of dud props. Since Matt Groat. The one Griffin recruited from the Eels..... Averillo or something like that, was probably the best. Best value for money. Frank Molo wasn't that bad but possibly the worst value for money.

Those preseason injuries to the middles are compounding that we are probably 1 prop short.. probably means they would be short fitness also.. anyway it is what it is.. I guess not it depends what happens with Frank.. as to whether we need to replace him.

Wing injuries arent great either, but thats a spot we have the depth in.

We need to get games into our young guys. Hope we move on from eisenhuth & rfm types. They shouldn't be first choice anymore...

He was rubbish in the middle and those good games were all at right edge with Sua shifting, which there's no need for. We're better off having Ryan or another on the bench that can cover the same roles but offer much more in the middle (in my opinion). Agree with Dave he also doesn't cover centre anyway, Sua is the one who covered it well when we lost Birdy I think it was on the right side. I still see Toms the more likely in the 17 to start the season, just hopefully not both of them and hopefully not for to long.

Think we've got buckleys chance of getting him this year for the little bits I've heard, similar to Atko they have no reason to let him walk, especially while they're in a premiership window.

From memory sua was motm at centre or close to it lol. He looks absolutely ripped in the socials. Always looks a little bit chubby but this season he's cut. Absolute specimen.

Our edges have me frothing. Ct/holmes/luch & winger/suli/sua.

Yea I remember him being a menace on that side as usual but solid in defence. Sure does he's looking unreal, definitely still one of my favs and always so humble, gonna be a weapon with Suli.

Cant wait to see the Luch, Holmes CT combo in action as well, gets me way too excited.

You are right. I'm revising my preferred middle rotation to:

JDB
Couchman
Couchman
Gular

along with 2 spots filled by

Sele / Lawrie / LPT / Latu / Egan

But I don't think Flanno will do that. I think he'll pick at least one of Eisenhurth and RFM if not both.

Agree although the highlights on the Manly website showed me Eisenhuth had a bit of a Barry Croker hopefully 1 off cant afford to carry too much deadwood this season if we are a chance of sneaking into 8th spot

Amen. Been saying it since before the end of last season. It would of taken an entire pre-season of retraining so can forget about it at least for most of this season.

I genuinely think he's going to kill it in the next couple years with Gutho teaching him the ropes, I've been so impressed by his attitude and willingness to get stuck in and learn from him instead of kicking stones. Finally having a proper mentor is going to do him, and a bunch of others, the world of good cause theres no doubt he has the ability to be an absolute weapon.

If Sloan's 2 foot injuries have come off the back of adding on weight... it might not be a reality for him to deliberately be bulking up anymore.. but lets see what happens, his lack of injuries 'during' seasons has been really good.. I cant even remember him having an injury.

I guess 94kg is about the same as JAC for example. He was the best winger in the competition for several years.
