This is my view too, I do get that every 50k or 100k saved could be the difference between getting/retaining another player in the future.. but I do feel like we get caught up trying to 'win' every deal. But im also a pretty useless negotiator, so I take my view with a grain of salt :p

I do feel like Flanno is coming from a sharks system where players were rly keen to get there and play in a side that was doing really well.. no doubt the same tactics at that club would yield brilliant results.. the hope is that maybe in 2-3years that could be us too....

And although I might think its a mistake at times.... I do admire Flannos patience and balls.. I would be losing sleep every night trying to recruit for my roster.. and here he is 2 weeks from kickoff.. and seemingly another piece he 'needed' falls out of the sky at the right time.. Guler only a few weeks before that.. Gutho before that.. just picking up scraps patiently and moulding his team of men.

I like the idea but I'm starting to get much more optimistic than 2 or 3 years. I'm thinking if LKT forces his way into first grade with Finau and Lawson on the wings, Klemmer up front. I'm thinking this team could make serious waves this year.

That isn't meant to be any criticism of CT in particular. I just think those I mentioned might be able to offer a bit more that is needed than the incumbents.

Results going our way as far as the pre-season challenge goes. Need Grubs to beat Donkeys and Gold Coast to beat Dolphins then it will all the Dragons will need to do is win in order to take home the Charity Shield and pre-season challenge.

Need to beat Souffs well and then hope results go our way.

Another great shape in attack this side over the other side of the ruck. That is what you like to see structures on both sides of the ruck . I like what I am seeing

I mentioned yesterday in another post 1/2 and 5/8 linking and that's what exactly happened in that 2nd try. The 3rd try 2nd phase footy and believe it or not support. This is nice to watch at the moment
