JC started to show some promise in the last few months of the season, after having a few stop start seasons due to injury, possibly his body started to finally develop and mature, a change may be a good thing for him now, also club is starting to make those hard decisions on which players to move on, possibly they don't think his body type is the way forward when you look at Tonga, Lui, Stewart who are all much taller and slim compared to Coric..
Anyway good luck to the kid and who knows maybe in 2 years we start chasing him to come back like Wishart :p
Where is Coric playing next year?

On the plus side, maybe it's not top secret.
Probably not, but i bet that know one else on this forum knew about it, until it was mentioned..
And my comment is more in general with what Just a Mug Fan Just a Mug Fan information he provides that its kept on this forum, as he doesnt need to provide any info, so it would be great if we could all respect that information..

My policy is to just assume everything from Justamug is under a Non-Disclosure-Agreement (NDA), works well =)

As far as I understand, this is a public forum. One has to be a member to post messages but no restrictions on people reading anything here. I could be wrong.

You aren't wrong. Unfortunately there is really nothing I can do about it. The only thing I can say is that it's definitely not me posting anything on social media platforms.

Read an article on some top QLD schoolboys and where they’re headed.
Max Blanch (Hooker) has big wraps on him and is coming down to play Harold Matt’s

Connor Sadler (Middle forward) in the highlights package I seen

Glad to see the club expanding their reach into QLD. That makes it a fair few QLDer’s in the pathways program nowB81DFF1A-BBFE-4CF1-AA70-C73EA30710F2.jpeg

The son of former Dragon turned Cronulla coach Craig Fitzgibbon will get his first taste of NRL exposure. Aaymon, a halfback who has impressed playing for the Illawarra Steelers, will hope to be a third generation first grade player following in the footsteps of his dad and grandfather Allan. The Dragons have a stack of rising stars doing a summer of training including the nephew of ex-Dragons Kyle and Chase Stanley - Cyrus Stanley-Traill who has a four-year deal with the club.

TRAIN AND TRIAL SQUAD:

Hayden Buchanan (centre), Jacob Halangahu (backrower), Kyan Hjaltason (hooker), Jett Liu (prop), Kade Reed (halfback), Ben Rumble (outside back), Jarrah Treweek (backrower), Leeroy Weatherall (prop)

Only 2 backs. Interesting. This might explain Flanno's lack of urgency to sign a prop.

Now I have a complaint. Look at the graphic (behind a paywall on DT) for the Bullgrubs. 18 year-old Mitchell Woods is in the list. Reed is 10x better from what I've seen and we know Dragons are desperate for a halfback. Why isn't Reed in our list? Not saying it's the wrong decision. Just wondering why. Physically Woods is ahead of Reed at present?

They only signed Mitch Woods to top 30 so early because he was being chased by every man and his dog in different codes.

Was the #1 prospect in the swans academy and could have signed for any NRL club if he really wanted to. Dogs offered Top 30 in 2025 so he’d get a nice payday but he won’t play a single game this year barring mass injuries for them.

Reed and Woods would be 75kg-80kg. There’s not much of them. Neither have played NSW cup either. Long way to go for them yet

Makes sense. Maybe he should have played AFL. I saw him in the SG Ball GF. Hardly sighted and didn't trouble St George defence at all. Then in the U19s Origin where he had a shocker. The ball couldn't get past him if he was first receiver. He just tucked it under his arm, ran straight and hard and got smashed. Then in Aus schoolboys vs PNG U19s. Threw a relatively nice pass at the end but I think it was more the runner running a good line and PNG defence being out on their feet.

Anyway, makes sense regarding Reed. Now Illias has signed, no need to hurry him. Play Flegg and a bit of NSW Cup next season. Then NSW Cup and maybe a bit of first grade the next year. Then first grade (fingers crossed) for the next 12 years.
