o Justa previously mentioned Rumble was beefed up, but if hes capable of putting that much mass on over 1 off-season, I wonder what position he might end up.. could potentially open up a bunch of positions.
o Halangahu is listed as SL 26, I wonder if hes already locked into Top30 for 2027 also? Possibly they want to wait and see how he goes this year, cant imagine hes any less likely than a few of the other guys already locked in for 2027.
o Just on those 2027 prospects... i'm yet to watch Weatherall play a game (im excited though), but they must have massive wraps on him to have someone yet to play SG Ball locked into Top 30 for 2027, hopefully its not just managers playing clubs off eachother.. but if others have come knocking what do you do.. No doubt there will be a bunch of new kids come through in 2025 also, so having CST, Halangahu, Weatherall all coming thru in 1 year on top of Latu, Tonga, maybe Liu, Couchies would be 23 in 2027 (still young but hopefully real 1st graders), but its going to be a crazy young forward pack unless we let a few of them go during the process.

Thankyou for this, gheez that’s a worry that Finau Latu and Loko Tonga are only locked in for next year.
Find it strange that CST is locked down til ‘27 but better prospects like the 2 previously mentioned aren’t

A lot of the young boys bulk up in offseason but lose weight as the pre season heats up.
That's Sloan's biggest issue with weight gain he can't keep it on during the season.

Fingers crossed Corey Ackers kicks on to be a good first grader. Like the way he goes about his game though mobility might be a problem as he puts on more weight.

Just a Mug Fan the tele published their list of T&T, there are 4 differences in CST, Kirk missing & Liu & Treweek in.I cant imagine CST is on anything but T&T, unless hes getting a promotion into that final development spot... Treweek/Liu are in preseason, but I dont think they have contracts of that nature yet?

For those on train and trial deals but too old to play Jersey Flegg for 2025, does it mean they will go back to CRL if they don't get a SL or top 30 deal?

No T&T for Saints Ball Premier guys, Williams, Peckham-Harris, Afu, Te Moananui, Hammoud, Tikinau, Hutchinson. Looks to me a clear bias toward Illawarra juniors.

Williams will surely start the season in Jersey Flegg. Peckham-Harris is really too small. A shame. Very talented. Te Moananui is well behind some other outside backs. I think I read here Hammoud is also in the Flegg squad. No idea about the others.

Nah. Langer, Toovey, Sterling, our own Haddock and Shulman were all midgets and all carved out successful careers. TPH is a tuff little dude and will prove he has what it takes to handle big time league.

Don't disagree but he's behind Buchanan. Not sure who the other centre will be but if Te Moananui is good enough, I'm sure he'll get a chance. Remember Illawarra had a very bad injury toll last year. Might be a couple of centres who slipped under the radar of everyday punters but are ready to excel in Flegg next season.
But Langer, Toovey and Sterling were all playmakers. If Peckham-Harris can transform himself into a halfback and palymaker, he's might go ok. But pretty late in the day for that, isn't it? I think he's 20 next year.

Gotta say I am excited by what the future promises for our famous club in the next year or two. A good combo of know how and cred from our new established players mixed with the devil may care enthusiasm of our talented youth.
