According to Zero Tackle, Halangahu is in the top 30 next year. Or this year in a few hours.
According to News Ltd he isn't even on a development deal. According to the Dragons official website, he isn't in the top 30 but they haven't updated it yet. They still have Coric and Shereb listed.

Not directly dragons news but seems the Thompson to Canterbury signing has had a domino effect.

Fanafou Seve who is the best front row prospect Canterbury have had since David Klemmer has left and signed with the roosters, he’s someone we should have been all over especially with Millard in recruitment coming from the dogs. Don’t like giving the Chooks credit but they are elite with their junior recruitment and it remains a big reason why they are so good year after year

There was also that Titans prop who apparently wants out with Dogs being the favourites for his signature.

Must have been in the pipeline to happen that fast

Finau Latu looking absolutely jacked, probably won’t play much if any first grade this year but he’s my favorite prospect in our ranks

His game against Newcastle in the Sg Ball semi finals last year was one of the best individual performances I’ve ever seen from a forward

Hopefully he'll get a chance at some point.

Was very good in the final as well though they were so dominant across the park, it was hard to notice standouts.

Finau Latu

Dragons, lock

NSW Cup stats: One game, 77 running metres, four tackle busts, five tackles (no misses)
The Dragons had actively been seeking to recruit a middle forward, but were unable to do so for 2025. They must now look within to ensure their pack can lay the foundation for their backline, and teenage phenom Latu looms as that man at some point in the campaign. He got a small taste of men’s football in his sole NSW Cup appearance last year and made an impact from 20 minutes off the bench.

Yes he was awesome as was Loko Tonga Jr in the Final. He was in everything, from stepping outside backs and deft inside passes, to bone jarring defense and powerhouse carries. These two and their mate Jake Halangahu must be contracted long term as they are the future of our engine room.
