Disagree. He's already been coached by Stuart, Bennett, Seibold, Walters and limited stints under Cleary, Barrett, Gentle.

There are a couple of long in the tooth props off contract ie McLean Taupou who would probably be on Griffin radar. You know I can't help but think if we had Widdup somewhere in our organisation with his connections back in England perhaps we could have picked up a prop from Super League. I say that because the Storm I believe have signed an up and comer 20 yr old 2nd rower which is highly unusual for that club.

No more veteran props for the Dragons! Raiding the ESL or Rugby Yawnion is an excellent idea.

I'm just thinking out aloud and with our recent track record of picking up over the hill players I'm scared we may be looking at those two especially. I think McLean wouldn't be such a bad cheap buy considering he was selected for NSW

Agree Griffin is probably thinking about it. Agree McClean is still quite good but for how much longer? 8 years ago Woods and Burgess were among the best props.

700k now. 750k if the cap rises. Remember we aren't talking about next year but the year after and year after that when he'll be 34 and 35.

Well as I openly stated earlier this season that we are a club divided. Today it was reported that 2 senior players Su'a and Lawrie have raised their own concerns about the current culture at the club. The GM Ben Haran didn't deny it simply saying well we have received nothing formal . That says it all. No semi final football next season under this current coach and management. So very sad.

I'm afraid JoDragon may lose his voice from non-stop yelling before turning TPG into a good, consistent player. What you'd expect from someone on just a touch under 1mil this season and 750k for the two after that.
We are in the same boat with Mbye but I believe next year he's on "only" about 350k.

I agree. If all we can lure are players on the cheap. This bloke is better than a cheap buy imo. Reckon he has a few more good years in him. Not the enforcer type our engine room needs tho.
