Yeh given we offloaded him when we signed McIness because he wanted Robson's position and Robson did not want to play lock. We could have has both. Not Marys best bit of coaching. If R & R are looking at Robson we will find out on Nov 1. Be better than Jacob Liddle from the Tigers Ressies.

Is there anything to the rumor that we are talking to Reece Robson.

I heard about that. No indication at all the club is interested in signing him. Just one News Ltd reporter insisting it's possible. The same guy who insisted we should sign Parramatta 30 year-old reserve grader Nathan Brown.

I rate Robson. Really good player but it's incomprehensible one of Hunt, Mulheisen, Hooper and Purcell aren't going to play hooker.

As it is incomprehensible, it might be exactly what Griffin has in mind......

Dolphins coach Wayne Bennett is set to raid yet another of his former clubs with the veteran coach chasing Jaydn Su'A from the Dragons.
Su'A has two years left on his deal with the Dragons but isn't happy at the club and will ask for a release to return to his family in Queensland on compassionate grounds.

He has been one of our best but that's not saying much. I think he's overpaid. I'd much prefer Angus Crighton for example. Just my view.

Unwanted Bronco Jake Turpin is in the SGI Dragons sights for the key hooking spot to replace Andrew McCullough who is likely to retire.The club has already been linked with the Cowboys' Reece Robson, Rooster Sam Verrills and Wests Tigers' Jacob Liddle.

Well Verrills has signed elsewhere. I wonder what our other young and promising hookers like Connor Muhleisen, Sam Hooper and Declan Purcell think about their chances of playing first grade for us in the next five years?

It's nice to dream. At the end of the day, I don't think the Dragons are in Tigers or even Bulldogs territory when it comes to recruitment. The Gong is a nice place cheaper than Sydney giving us a salary cap advantage in theory and the team is mediocre, not really bad.

An update on S'ua. He is off to the the Dolphins. Bennett has gotten his way. Prior to this there was a rumor doing the rounds of a swap between S'ua and Klemmer of the Knights. Bugger I had Jaydyn as a long termer for us. Another fine player gone because those in the Front Office hire useless individuals as coaches. Our once famous club is being run by incompetents.
Why isnt anyone interested in poaching Jack Bird.

Turpin and Liddle fit our blueprint.. hire players no one else wants. Getting back a former Junior Kangaroo such as Robson is a good scenario but I reckon we have burnt our bridges concerning him.

Then lets hope is is just Twitter conjecture. Talk is that Su'a requested a release weeks ago after a 'significant multi level fall out' with Griffin. Basicly that he gets nothing from Griffin's coaching and does not get along with him. S'ua is on a three year contract, the club rates him, so Bennett may be in for a battle to get him.

IMO you are too negative. A change of coach will fix this situation very quickly. At least I hope so.

My pesonal opinion is that Su'a is overrated. Not saying he is a bad player but not that good. He couldn't get a look into the QLD team for example. Behind Capewell and 30 something Kafusi.

UPDATE - Triple M have said that Su’a will join the Dolphins after the Dragons granted a release today.

Spineless lot in our Front Office!!! Backing a useless coach because they dont wanna lose face.
Still losing S'ua is better than having a player just going thru the motions. Whose next. Blake Lawrie, Zac Lomax?
