So why this search for a prop by our recruiters if Griffin intends playing Hunt as one. Seems our suits have finally realized that we need an experienced prop such as this Leiu from Penrith so Jack can return to lock..

It's a good question. Coric was on the extended bench for first grade in the last few games so surely he's going to be in the top 30 next year. Then there is Lawrie, Hunt, Molo. There there is Woods and Burgess. Then there is M. Molo, JDB and possibly Couchman. If Hunt and M. Molo aren't penciled in for first grade, why the hell would Griffin have extended their contracts?

There's no reason at all why the Dragons shouldn't have the financial clout to be among the top teams. The St George side of the club is cashed up and the other is owned by one of the richest people or families in the country.

I am with jodragon we need a prop enforcer type to give us go forward that the current props dont. We really only have one with the size to do that.. and everyone here says his top grade days are gone. Woods will give us value every match but he is now hardly the enforcer type, ditto Blake Lawrie, a hit it up and die with the ball prop, F Molo is Ressie standard, his brother is a bit small while Jaiden Hunt looks like a middle or edge back rower rather than a bookend. We know so little about Josh Coric so pointless speculating. I hope tho that he is finally given his debut at the start of the next season to show us what he has at the top level.

F. Molo is massive but seems to rin about half as hard as Lawrie.

"Only" 5-10kg difference? Well. Lawrie about 105~106kg, isn't he? So if Molo is about 115~116, he is "only" 4 or 5kg lighter than the biggest players in the comp such as NAS and the Burgess brothers. In my books, that makes him big.

F Molo stats according to dragons website is 6' tall 112kg. When I talk about big boppers in my mind they are the size of the Burgess boys 6' 4" 120kg. Lawrie is 6' 1" 106kg . That's why I liked that young prop Franklin Pele who played NSW Cup for Sharks feeder club Newtown 6'3" 119kg only 22 yrs old next season but we missed out on him because Gould saw what I see in him.

The website is inaccurate for a lot of things like weight. Maybe he is good but it won't be because of how big he is vs F. Molo. Time will tell.

Dogs recruiting him doesn't sound promising for his ability. They have salary cap issues and have to sign a number of players on a minimum wage.

What I saw of him, from a coaches perspective, he was worth chasing after

Check out his NSW Cup season stats for the Newtown Jets. We missed a good'n and the Kennell keeper Gould picked up one.

I was referring to George Burgess. Correct about F Molo, reason I have him in Ressies next year. But because we forked our good coin for him for three years our R/R mob wont admit their a error by hiding him there.

Who is in charge of maintaining our salary cap? Not flipping Peter Doust again. We all blame R/R for our player crisis but I suppose when it comes down to it.. R/R are working within the confines of our measly salary cap.
