Keenan Palasai,Corey Horsburgh. Both props.. two more names to toss around. I favor the ginge.. a bigger unit and carries better stats.
Don't know the first of those and the second is ordinary, IMO.
I think Coric and at least one other Flegg prop will be in the top 30 next year. Maybe Aaron Johnson. Also a massive unit.
Wouldn't it be nice if the Dragons could bring their own outstanding players through the juniors and into first grade!

Well he did well with the others..cant win em all Flanno..

Not confirmed on our website but hearing Jacob Liddle failed our medical test. Does that mean he is not coming or has a chance to retake the test later.
I guess it means it's true that McCullough is staying on. Surely Hook, unless he wants to get sacked, won't play him in first grade.

Max King,
Keenan Palasia, Corey Horsburgh, Ryan Sutton. All props.
Palasia is a Qlder but his stats are moderate. Latter is a Pom looking to get some sun here. He can also tackle which is rare for one of them. The ginge Horsburgh gets my vote, is bigger, has a good engine and can offload. And I reckon a decent attack coach could get even better stats out of him. Need to move quick as his junior club was the Redcliffe Dolphins.
Too late on Horsburgh.. has resigned with the Raiders while Sutton is off to the Kennel. W Two other props we can take a look at if still unsigned, Max King and Herman Ese'ese.

No thanks to both. Better putting faith in our your props.

Who? Lawrie yes has earned his stripes but next year his new style of running will be identified and better defended against so he may not be able to make those good metres consistently

Then you will be pleased the Raiders have offered him a late extension. I rated him after viewing his career stats. They were by far the best of the three I listed. We are quickly running our of prop options.

Coric, Johnson, Couchman. Maybe other options as well.

Probably wishful thinking.

Too proud to own up to his mistakes? I tend to agree. Might be the case for his boss, Craig Young, as well.
I yearn for the simpler life , no real club politics, a man's word and handshake was his bond. There was a time now long gone where you saw what was coming and were told to your face. Nowdays with so much money and politics involved in running a business, the facts are that making admissions of any wrong doing or making a mistake is a sign of weakness especially for an old school coach.

Griffin is so old school he's come full circle and doesn't quite know where or how he can fit in anymore.

Actions speak louder than words and his actions in axing both assistant coaches and Graham says it all to me
I agree with you in principle but surely the defence coach, Gentle, needed to be sacked. I know in theory the buck stops with the head coach. At least it's supposed to but still, Gentle was a failure. Not sure why Head and Graham had to go. I guess as you speculated, internal factions backstabbing and undermining each other until Albert came down on the side of Griffin's faction.

The club is on record saying they have money and are looking to recruit "big bodies".
When was this? Then get on with it and recruit some big bodies and an edge forward to replace the fine Tariq Sims. If we can get David Fifita on a reduced wage.. take him. I am certain a good attack coach will revive the best in the big fellar.

He I agree with. I saw a pic the other day with him and a bunch of young teens who were having fun while the big Pom was obviously passing on some tips. Probably is their coach, not sure. Head was a moderate half with little organizational skill so was the wrong man to try to bring out ball in hand skills with our halves.
