This is getting pretty funny at this point so who knows whats really going on, linked full article and some interesting bits below:

'Not true': Dragons coach Shane Flanagan denies signing unwanted prop Matt Lodge​


"I haven't seen anything because the story's not true," he told Sky Sports Radio.
"He hasn't signed a train-and-trial contract and he's highly unlikely to. We've spoken to Matt and that's one of these things that has gone off a little bit early.
"We'll just move on and I'm looking for another middle … he was suggested as one."

"We've got 10 middles but three of them are really young," Flanagan said.
"While we've got good numbers, we've got three kids who haven't played NRL.
"I'm really comfortable with the players that we've got this year and our squad depth but we'll still be in the market for a front-rower."

I thought he would have been a good addition but Flanno really seems confident about the middles he already has. I know he says he's looking for another but obviously not desperate for one.

Bullgrubs used to have an English prop who was suspended or injured almost all the time. When he was fit, he was a good prop. I think his name is Thompson. Still pretty young as well. Get him on a 3 year deal. Injuries were probably just bad luck and suspensions come down to what the coach wants. If the coach wants a prop who will scare other forwards, suspensions will come.

Sorry bout his mental probs, but we never shd've extended him. Some journo described him as our enforcer. :D :D Big body, little motor and passion. Frees a Top 30 spot if he goes, so a win win situation for mine.

Would I be right in saying if the timeline being reported is correct, this whole thing started just after Gutho and Cook were announced co-captains? Frank should worry about being in first grade, not whether he is captain or not.

I like the idea of Luch as a ball playing prop. Will give us big mins for starters. Start off Loko Jr with short mins and increase them the more match aware he becomes. If not Toby as an edgie, who else do we have to fit that role. Anyone been keeping track of how Vili Fifita is going in pre season.

Luch a ball-playing prop? Why not? Solves problem with not enough props but excess second-rowers.

The timeline being reported in the media is probably incorrect. Anyway, I hope they sort it out quickly. That is, let him go as long as the Dragons aren't paying any of his salary. Don't need a repeat of the Hunt saga playing out.
