How can we put a cap on anything these days, as proven its the struggling clubs that suffer the most. We pay huge overs for someone not really worth , then get shafted for years to come with our cap, moreso if things dont work out.

I read it's foolish to compare this or that player with others as it depends on the needs of a club and salary cap position. But all things being equal, if Payne Haas was also on the market and commanded about 1.2 mil a year, I'd say Fa’asuamaleaui is worth 800k. As is Haas will probably get 1.3 to 1.4 mil a year so I'd say Fa’asuamaleaui is worth 875 to 925k.
