I mentioned before I think Ryan is an out and out prop now, probably loses speed after his ACL.. so I dont think he is competing for edge.. Stewart was also an edge in a lot of games coming through.. he now looks too big for that.. he seems like he's our 13 moving forward.. probably not 27 rounds a year though.

I forgot about Cyrus, but I dont know what his position is yet.. as he grows he might also end up a middle.. I feel like hes not quite as explosive as Latu, but hes still a beast, definitely noticably better than the other SG Ball guys, I reckon he might get a few games in NSW Cup later in the year, depending what happens with injuries... I think he could very easily play middle though..

And CMeafou yeah he didnt blow me away after his first game to the point where I was suggesting he go and skip grades.. I think he will take some time to come through yet, assume hes 16 or 17 still.. looks a player of the future though..

Cyrus to me looks like he could develop into a very handy middle / front row

If we dont resign Nick T it will be a big mistake, heart and soul with the Dragons, we've made enough stupid decisions lately so lets not make another.

I know Egan and Jacob are very good. No slight on them but is Nick T even better? I think should be a priority re-signing. Now Latu is gone, don't really understand why it hasn't been done already.

What about LPT? He's a Big Boy Prop already but will be even a Bigger Boy Prop next year. Then Stewart, how big is he already? Liu who you mention above is also a Big Boy Prop, isn't he? Definitely extend JDB for another year who is way better than Lawrie, Gular and Klemmer.

Liddle's been getting more minutes recently but still can't understand Flanno. It seems like he is being forced to give Liddle more minutes but really doesn't want it. Is he trying to push Liddle out so Kyle can partner Cook as hookers next year?

Whether Rava, Lawrie, Sele (and potentially a few others tbh) are all here next year is something I would love to sort out earlier rather than in January... and all the good signings will be gone by then.. also no idea how much cap space is unspent for that matter.

I guess Flanno isn't interested in Brandon Smith. I agree with him for once. Good hooker and good lock but not very good in either position. But the reason Flanno doesn't want him is just a guess but with Atkinson or LKT to play 5/8 and Flanno publicly talking about Reed, who is going to play hooker but Kyle?

De Silva or a Raider or a Bronco seems the most likely options I reckon.. in terms of a disgruntled player.. but we have to land them first..

The thing we can offer however is there is a 9 role waiting if Liddle goes.. Cook will allow for the transition and cover 14.

Unpopular opinion. Tell Su'A he won't be re-signed at the end of this year and he is free to leave a year early. Of course Leilua as well but he won't be able to get another club buy out his salary.

So next year second rowers or edge forwards are Halangahu, Egan, Nick T, Leilua. Middle forwards JDB, Couchmans, LPT, Stewart.

Cyrus Stanley-Traill can play on the edge or in the middle.

Liddle is under contract for another year after this.

nah it’s a mutual option IIRC, also, if we sign Paix I’m not a fan.

Mozer or Da Silva id be a fan of, Owen Pattie from Canberra would be an unreal signing but Canberra see him as their future and I’m sure he wouldn’t leave anyway

Shane Richardson has openly said that Da Silva wants to play first grade and if they extend Koroisau another 2 years which looks likely than they wouldn’t stand in his way of leaving

That’s the biggest draw we have over any other club with hooker is opportunity and a free spot

Raiders have 3 hookers contracted for 2-4yrs, no idea why they would sign Brailey and extend Starling when they have Pattie.. but Pattie is on a 4yr deal..

Broncos are drowning in hookers + hunt, but not sure if we would be happy with any of them bar mozer which seems super unlikely.. but im sure if we liked any of their other guys it would work...

Da Silva is on contract also till end of 2026.. but maybe he can be shaken loose.. just checking his stats though, 69% tackling efficiency in his 30mins last week against the storm... usually plays less than 20mins... maybe hes not a flanno sort of a target.. obviously his running game is incredible.

Or its someone else completely.. depends how high up the food chain we are chasing.. and again we have to land them.
