Personally, I wouldn’t even entertain the idea of bringing him to the club if he was to become available. Not the kind of forward figure/leader required to lead the young bucks in the pack. No thanks

I mean he’s very unlucky to be caught up in that situation. I can assure you a high % of nrl players are up to the same sort of stuff on the regular. It’s a lot more common then you’d think.

I know it's very common. If he were a gun player I'd like to Dragons to sign him but if he was, Rorters wouldn't try to get rid of him. He's not.

Holmes is a gun player, IMO. I felt the same about signing Gutho. I think I've been proved right. Good player but not a good fullback in the modern game. Not anymore.

Bit of a clean out reported 12 players gone 2 of them retiring. May be a $ or 2 to try and attract some decent players that we need. Time will tell.

JAC has been for a long time one of the best wingers in the competition. Radley is far from one of the best locks. Stewart is already better.

If we let Ramsay go anywhere but the Dragons, I will be well and truly pissed off, he is an inspiration to the club and exactly what we need at FB. Until someone absolutely proves he cant handle the NRL then we will never know. It wasn't that long ago they were saying he would never play any type of football again!!!

'Genius' moment could save star's NRL career
A moment of pure genius from Cody Ramsey last weekend is set to save the forgotten Dragon's career.
Last week, Wide World of Sports revealed that Ramsey - who nearly died from ulcerative colitis in 2022 before coming back to footy this season in the NSW Cup in one of the most heartwarming stories of 2025 - is set to be cut by the Dragons.
Ramsey is without a club but a sensational solo try in the final minutes of the NSW Cup semi-final against the Warriors that has gone viral on social media may have changed all that.
Two Sydney clubs - believed to be the Eels and the Roosters - are suddenly showing interest in the fullback/winger.
"It was an amazing try - he must have beaten six players," Ramsey's manager Gavin Orr told Wide World of Sports.
"Cody is a great kid and such a good story.
"He just refused to give up where other blokes would have tossed in the towel.
"He was out for nearly three years but this season has topped the running metres and line break assists in the NSW Cup."

As per usual though we won't be the only ones after him.. Also a chance he medically retires before his contract is up like tomE, but at this point we would take what we can get.
