Don't like his personality and he's sliding in form but it'd be good to get him for a year to help LKT and mentor Reed.

From the games I saw at the end of the season, Kennedy is one of their best.
I wonder what is going on with DCE? If it was a done deal at the Chooks, why not just announce it? What are they waiting for? Please don't tell me DCE thinks he is that big a name the news will attract attention away from the GF.

Story behind a paywall in the DT this morning. Dragons have a huge amount of salary cap space but before anything they are looking to extend:
  • Stewart (a lot of people, not just Dragons fans are starting to talk about him)
  • Nick T
  • King-Togia
  • Egan
  • Halangahu
Also Ramsey has been offered a supplementary contract which I think he will accept. Why wouldn't he? Surely no one is going to offer him a top 30 spot right now given his health issues. If he can pack on another 10kg, he might be able to make it back to the NRL. People who lose a lot of weight due to illness often put the weight right back on and then some when they recover. Same thing as when someone has a bad flu and lose a couple of kgs during the week then put it right back on in seemingly a day when one recovers.

Though I don't know the particulars of his former illness and I know Mug Fan Mug Fan suggested it would be hard for him to put a lot of weight back on. So there's that.

Anyway, signing those young players is surely a good move.

For all our hopes about our juniors and what they will do next year plus the experience they got blah blah, just watch this PC and then ask me why I'm skeptical, if it happens then brilliant and if it doesn't, we'll be talking about this again next year.

Who were the 3? Sullivan, Amone and Ramsey? A lot of people, including me, thought Sullivan and Amone were going to be much better than they turned out.

My point being that bringing juniors into a side that is continually getting pummeled is not good, as we have seen previously what does it do to them, their confidence etc, and to say that they will be better off for it, well go ask Stewart how he feels losing all those games, and the way we finished getting 40 put on us in our last 3 games.

Plus I don't think that Ando would be chasing another half seeing that we only need LKT, Kyle, Atko and Reed even though Campbell would blitz them all and Flanno would say that "all is well with our current halves once we get rid of Ilias and we have already got rid of Glover, so I'm happy with what we have - especially seeing I'll be using Kyle a lot because he is the best when on the field - snicker, snicker".

It might not be impossible. I think his best position is 5/8 or fullback but Gold Coast have a 5/8 and fullback on big money, long term deals. But no way they swap him for Ilias and would cost close to a mil a year.
