Honestly in the trials his defence was terrible in the centres

I’d love him at fullback though where he wouldn’t need to tackle

We already have Sloan that could do that, we all complained that his defense was crap at FB.

Gutho still has plenty to add for 2026. He’s no chopped liver

The only thing that is certain, the Parra fullback Flanno paved the way for them to sign is much better in 2026 and going forward.

My take on it is that besides Penrith, most of the teams with the most juniors in the top 30 are in the bottom 8 of the NRL market for the premiership or in the top 8 for the most loses market.

The only thing that is certain, the Parra fullback Flanno paved the way for them to sign is much better in 2026 and going forward.

Before we signed Gutho, Ryles already said he intended to play Iongi at fullback for Parra. He was talking of playing Gutho lock, which I think is a stupid idea. Gutho is better for us than Slone is. I would have given Lomax a run at fullback if I was coach.

Yep, look at most of the teams with very low numbers like sharks/storm/raiders/roostsrs/broncos

Their all perennial finals teams who don’t confine themselves and have this weird ego about prioritising players that are ‘one of their own’

All recruit and develop from a young age incredibly well
