His stats dont exactly say buy me David. Still an offloading forward in Ressies is a bonus. When is he supposed to be playing as not seen his name in this seasons squads.

I thought last year when he was called up he was good. Not so much in defence where it looked like he needed to hit the weights room to get stronger but in attack, he showed a lot of skill on top of his speed and footwork. Though I agree about Charlie if he can ever get himself fit for a number of games in a row.

Rly dont understand how a club with a couple of quality outside backs that cant make first grade are after a player like Xerri (rumoured on >500k).. but in any case.. he is definitely a Flanno player.. probably brings everything Suli does.. but also has speed and can make a line break.. stick him inside Holmes who can take CT's left wing perhaps.. would be a lethal left edge.. also gives us injury cover.

I am actually looking forward to seeing Buchanan at some pt though.. just not sure what we have out of him in 2026.. but were locked in now so hoping he surprises.

By all accounts we hunted for a gun winger all off-season and didnt land him.. Val Holmes can be that gun winger with Xerri @ left ctr.. vastly improves our backline for 2026.

Wouldn't mind seeing Fale at wing at some pt also, another example of an outside back who says hes a ctr but rly looks to be a winger....and still on the fence about Tu.. need to see more... but none of our wingers currently are 'must pick' selections.

Too early to know... but I am a bit nervous that we could walk into 2027 with a bunch of outside backs that aren't quite up for it.. similar to the last few seasons... which also prevents us from going after better talent.. if indeed we could sign them.
