We are fine for halves. Stick with Reed and then Atkinson or LKT in the short term and any number of dudes in a bit longer term. Need centres and wingers. One of each should be enough.

wonder what lomaxes rugby contract is though, surely there are no NRL clauses baked in after all the shinanigans that went on.

I can go with Reed, but Atkinson, well we tried making him a 7 , big mistake, not his fault, Everyone said he is a running 6, no evidence of that so far, some even suggesting FB. So wtf is he ?

They tried to remake Atkinson into a ball‑playing half and it didn’t come off. Now that he’s back in his natural role at 5/8, the Roosters exposed him badly and his confidence looks significantly affected. Even so, he should get a couple of games 5/8 to show whether he can handle NRL level before he’s sent back to reserve grade.

Agree. He's a good long kicker and in the first couple of games showed some good all-round halves play. But as of right now, I'd say LKT has the edge over him. But it's too soon to give up on him. Give him a few games with Reed.

Yep agree, I mean as of now we have had so many combinations and cock ups, who cares really. unfortunately this team will be known as the worst team in our history, deservedly or undeservedly they are the facts. They lost a lot of supporters last year, I'm afraid this year will be much worse. I cant even see us winning a game and I wonder what the board will say then.

I'm just following the emergence of our young dudes like Reed, Halanagahu, LKT, LPT and continued rise of Stewart and the Couchman's. Don't even care about win or lose. Hopefully this will set us to be much better next year and I'm confident we will be.

If we could turn him into an equivalent of Dylan Walker it could be interesting ... Still would be vary wary on him as the last few years not great.

I cant believe this, if Bennet couldnt get anything out of him we are no chance !!!
The only positive is that he has dropped 33kg. Thats massive and at least shows that he is serious this time. Not saying I want him but it seems he’s in a good head space after what he went through at Manly which was devastating for him and a few others. I hope he finds a club moving forward
