Was that the first time Cook and Liddle have been on the field at the same time ?

One of them played lock I suppose.

Anyway I think it worked well !

Liddle’s was awesome and my pick for man of the match.

He grabbed the loose ball and was into stride really quickly but Mam would have got him except for the goose step.

I think that was the turning point especially as we were a man down at the time.

Crap reffing to allow that blatent forward pass to go thu to the keeper. Question where was our captains challenge. Up till that point we had held them well despite not having Jack on the paddock. Our so called prime play maker missing a tackle on Mam he shud've made and where was Gutho.

Shame. He has so much heart but not the natural ability for the modern game. KF as well. Blocka isn't on his own.

It's a shame this coincided with the Origin period. Broncos has an abundance of outside backs and we are lacking. Was hoping the blow torch would be applied and a few excess outside backs might be shown the door.

The blowtorch should be applied on them. I'm not on the 'Flanno is flawless' bandwagon but I reckon he could do wonders with the current Broncos team.

Gutho is a good player but not a great one as he has flaws. Defense for one, pace another. And he does not always go to the line before passing. Twice in the first 20 I saw him probably bomb two tries by running crab like and forcing his support wider instead of drawing his man and putting an unmarked Holmes away.

Sloans aerial work is mostly affective, brilliant too on occasions, take his first try , how he got that ball down is incredible. But there are other times when he shud go for the ball instead of patting it back to supports. A case in point f/h when Flanagan no tried after Sloan knocked pill forward when trying to pat it.

Not be wishing for too many more games with Gerard Sutton officiating. Seemed to have it in for us with some baffling calls, not least their first 'no try' he gifted them. Nice little 6 point piggy back for the donkeys.
