Imo you're not going to burn someone from 1 game. If that's the case then he won't make it in the nrl regardless. A player can't be that fragile to become a quality 1st grader. We want quality 1st graders who can be part of a consistent top 8 side. We've been picking mediocre players for far too long.

After CT burning us from his injury lay off, no one apart from gutho deserves to return to 1st grade straight away after a long injury, especially soft tissue injuries. Every fkn game someone gets injured. Surely hamish stewart is a better option qt ctr than cook.

Just my views. I have watched this kid develop as well as our current crop of juniors becoming men. I believe that he could be something very special. I really believe playing him out of position was wrong.

I get your wavelength. I hope the kid actually slips into the 17 and comes off the bench and plays some minutes in his preferred position.

However it would be difficult to believe that Allan would have recovered from a hammy and especially after CT lasted 20 odd minutes, once bitten twice shy. On the positive side Iro is out for the Sharks.

I think this crop of youngsters being blooded this year will form our engine room for many years to come. I was against playing him at centre for his initial 1sts game. But that's just my views.

Don't be surprised if there are changes to the 17. The coach hasn't been backwards in coming forwards with last hour changes to the starting 13 or the 17

Surely the coach post and pre season sits down with the RL Manager, CEO, Recruitment and Retention team, coaching staff from ressies and pathways and discuss this important issue.

Identify what we need to do to get people both in and out of the door and to promote within so that we can field a competitive team?

But what would I know as well.
