That is no longer a problem with his beefing up. I didnt see him surrender in a tackle last week. He'll slice Pommie defenses to shreds.

Yeah but that is in reserve grade. He was mostly good but hardly dominated in reserve grade like the Couchmans were last year.
It was a good team effort. Was impressed by LKT. Took the ball in both hands, ran right to the line before either passing, kicking or being tackled. Dogs had no idea what he was going to do before he did it. I think in the not distant future on a regular basis he's going to either run straight through or set up line breaks or tries on a regular basis. As long as the forwards give him a platform like they did in the second half.

Can we afford for him to put in another shocker like that. Definitely not. If so we are 2-nil down to start the season. Betting Rabbits are thinking bloody pleased they have not picked Finau as he and Holmes hurt us bad in CS.

Makes sense to me was impressed with him in Cup on that side, great support play and was chasing every high ball as well. Also fine with giving Matt another week if thats the route he takes, was a poor team effort not just him but if Sloan's the pick I can see why. Keen to see him in action with Gutho.

I think Kyle Stone has been impressive (still dont know where he came from), his crime last week (I think) was trying too hard with the big full speed carries off the back fence.. just needs to go at 80%, or put a step in or something, too much risk of the ball spilling out at that speed.

That said... if we had to clear a spot its probably him.... the bench is currently a utility + Fifita/Stone/Liu.. Fifita needs a game hes top 30, and Liu has been one of their best props.. deserves his spot... but.. he could also drop back to jersey flegg potentially.

Didnt he have some Firsts time late last year and obviously did not impress the BOD otherwise theyd never have gone looking for Atkinson. If Flanagan plays the way he did last game and in pre season LKT will probably get some more top grade time. But he will have to have a blinder season to unseat Top 30 man Atkinson.

One shocker! Ty being Sloan I presume. Jeez this guy is too impatient to stay on his wing. If on the other hand he is given a roving role, that will suit him to a tee, but he needs to get back to his wing smartly when opposition has possession. Was Flanno over ruled. Well whoever made the decision must've been sold on one special Sloan play when he went infield then cleverly positioned himself to take an inside pass and streak 60m without a hand touching him.

Yes give him a crack and for more than for 8 mins this time. If his motor is still busted, send him packing and promote another into the 30.

If I was picking the side it would be CT , Finau wingers , Sloan at this stage not sure where he fits in ......... Maybe Sloan to fullback and Gutho to 5/8 ......... A few more weeks and if K.Flanno and Illias don't improve could happen ........

Clubs are always looking for good halves. Whichever is best of the two can go to another club.
