Round 4 v Cronulla

A lot of people won't like this. I don't like it but I'm going to put it out there anyway.
Tyrell Sloan had 4 runs for 52 run metres. I think you will really struggle to find a fullback less involved.
Agree , but also it comes down to the way they play the game no game plan , never getting over the advantage line , slow play the balls no defense , most would struggle behind this team ......

I don't think those stat's are right. I have him 9 runs 70m 17 pcm 2 tackle busts made 9 tackles missed just the 1 now compare that to the Broncos game again 9 runs 90m 24 pcm 3 tackle busts 1 line break 8 tackles 3 missed leading to tries. This goes to show that he can't inject himself into the game because he is inexperienced for one but the main reason is that we are going nowhere and not getting to our attacking structures which involves the fullback. His best stat's are of course against the Titans. So against the Titans we made 196 runs ran for 1877m 500m more than the Titans. Against the Broncos only 140 runs 1547m 500m less than them. Against Sharks 162 runs for only 1257m again 500m less than the opposition so last 2 games we are been going backwards but your right he doesn't get involved enough and on those 3 games is not 1st grade standard. Rule of thumb for a decent fullbacks involvement is minimum 12 - 16 runs but again this depends on your forwards going forward and getting to your attacking structures

That's according to Fox sports but I understand you are both right. Stats can be misleading and it's especially hard for backs to make metres behind a badly beaten pack.

That reflects the nature of our poor attacking structure plus our limited time in possession, specially second half. Do you have similar Sloan stats for last week, betting far better, the week before too. He thrives when the team is going forward, take his ripper try assist for Liddle in our first game. Also not only his runs, there is ball possession where he does some clever plays.

We should be favourites
Dolphins will win imo, perhaps not a wallop like the Broncs and Sharkies did . They will continue to surprise a lot of teams as their season progresses. Two reasons recruited well and they have Bennett at the helm. We recruited moderately and have Anthony Griffin at the helm. We have also had almost 100 points put on us in two weeks. Need I say more.

My view too as I wrote above.

He did not miss those tackles, tried his bum off to make them and save three tries. Was either a positional thing or as I maintain too much traffic coming at him after our middle defense had fallen into a hole.
