Disappointing if true though I guess it means Ando and Flanno decided he was behind a few other young middle forwards. I agree with that. I have him behind Hutchinson and he is behind the Couchman's, Stewart and LPT.

It is a shame, I thought Liu was first grade ready most of this year.. I said many times he should have been promoted into the spare Top30 spot... but he was never on the radar due to the other blokes in front of him...tbf I do get we are trying to bring a tonne of young forwards through at once, and its making things very difficult.. but I thought he was on par with Tonga already..

So here we have Josh Hannay, who has virtually just started at the Titans, signing 7 players, who appear to be so and so quality, including Jet Liu, but we are crickets still with announcements, however, with Nov 1 just a couple of days away it is expected that there will be some announcements made. Crossing fingers that they are goodies.

It's pretty typical for a player to sign with a club 1 year before the contract takes effect only for him to make a deal with his current club to exit immediately.
