Disappointing if true though I guess it means Ando and Flanno decided he was behind a few other young middle forwards. I agree with that. I have him behind Hutchinson and he is behind the Couchman's, Stewart and LPT.Liu has jetted off to the titans according to codesports
I thought he was good and was also hoping for a Top 30 call up but don't think he is anywhere near Tonga. It is a shame, I thought Liu was first grade ready most of this year.. I said many times he should have been promoted into the spare Top30 spot... but he was never on the radar due to the other blokes in front of him...tbf I do get we are trying to bring a tonne of young forwards through at once, and its making things very difficult.. but I thought he was on par with Tonga already..
I think ideally we want older guys, just not sure where were gonna get em.
exactly why we need to be all over him. don’t let him go to the dogs for unders.Do the Dogs have salary cap space for another marquee player? Or semi marquee player? I don't think so.
Someone please tell the writer Flanno has already been head coach for 2 full seasons. Next year will be his 3rd.So here we have Josh Hannay, who has virtually just started at the Titans, signing 7 players, who appear to be so and so quality, including Jet Liu, but we are crickets still with announcements, however, with Nov 1 just a couple of days away it is expected that there will be some announcements made. Crossing fingers that they are goodies.
"Titans secure the signatures of seven players in a sign new coach Josh Hannay is keen to quickly make his mark on the roster.
Five of the players signed were mostly seen in the reserve grades this year while two more other new additions to the club are schoolboy stars in Cooper Murphy and Justus Lowndes from rugby league nursery Keebra Park.
Both Lowndes and Murphy were led to the club by Todd Carney, who worked closely with Keebra Park this year and is now the Titans pathways coach.
Panthers hooker Luke Sommerton, 2025 Queensland Cup player of the year Oliver Pascoe, Raiders flyer Jensen Taumoepeau, Dragons prop Jett Liu and another former Panther in Siale Faeamani are the new faces on the glitter strip."

Damn, that’s sucks I rated him. Hopefully the rumours about LPT departing aren’t true or that will be LPT, Liu and Latu poached within a yearLiu has jetted off to the titans according to codesports
Where are these rumors circulating. LPT is signed and no one is allowed to approach him.Damn, that’s sucks I rated him. Hopefully the rumours about LPT departing aren’t true or that will be LPT, Liu and Latu poached within a year

Isnt that dude a centre ?Wouldn't Jaxon Purdue be a better to sign according to what we need than Tino or Koloamatangi?

Hopefully his re-signing is announced tomorrow.Perth bears want Hamish Stewart
InPerth bears want Hamish Stewart
But seriously, how good was he as the season went on? I wonder if one of those 10 year contracts would be out of the question? His manager would surely advise him not this early in his career. He won't go to market, we've been in extension talks.
I expect an announcement soon, we have also signed pathways manager and Flegg coach.
We may have funding to go to the market Dave, but the supply chain is dwindling (especially for 2026).So here we have Josh Hannay, who has virtually just started at the Titans, signing 7 players, who appear to be so and so quality, including Jet Liu, but we are crickets still with announcements, however, with Nov 1 just a couple of days away it is expected that there will be some announcements made. It's pretty typical for a player to sign with a club 1 year before the contract takes effect only for him to make a deal with his current club to exit immediately. We may have funding to go to the market Dave, but the supply chain is dwindling (especially for 2026).
