Just hope he isn't too conservative. Griffin, Mary and Price were all too conservative in my opinion even though they had fewer young players to call on.

A bit off topic but anyone have any info on whether any of the 28 players Daley picked for NSW Origin meet and greet were Dragons players? I guess Su'A is the only possible selection for Origin but QLD have a lot of backrowers so even he might find it difficult. Gutho and Cook would've been but due to age, will be overlooked. The fact JDB has only played 2 or 3 Origin games is a crime! Should sue the NRL for an extra mil due to that alone!

Probably been said over and over but for whatever reason the last 3 coaches before Flanno looking for instant success rather than investing in youth. So far, Flanno is heading in the same direction. I think he won't do the same thing. If he does, will probably get sacked next year.
I really hope sione finau can rip up the preseason trials to force himself into the right wing position. Need to figure out if he's nrl standard or not.
Feagai/rava known ability. Sloan/Lawson need wing reps in nsw cup. Allan returning from big injury.
Finau has done his apprenticeship at cup level. Time to give him a shot at nrl level

The only problem I have with this, if true, is why he would need to rip it up in the trials. Judging from what I've seen and heard about the likely round 1 team, I think you are right but I think Rava, Feagai and a few others should have to rip up the trials in order to be in the round 1 team.

Feagai was actually ok for most of the year. Much improved but still has brain explosions in defence much too often. Like Rava running in to tackle thin air but unlike Rava, even when in position to make a tackle, barely hangs an arm out while the ball runner brushes right past him. Can't give Dufty and Sloan a pass for their defence but at least they are very, very small for first graders. What is Feagai's excuse?

Hard to see him staying. Not bothered by that at all. Unlike another QLDer, wouldn't go so far as to say good riddence but not far from that.

I'd say good riddence. If Su'A goes, and I know he was good last year but has some serious competition rising, not gonna have any QLDers in the top 17 anytime soon?
