Looking at the draw, I can't confidently say we have a hope of winning another 3 or 4 games: Tigers x 2, Bulldogs and Cowboys. Any of these on their day will do us as well, sadly. What a sorry state of affairs for what was once the proudest club in the game.

Tigers have put their faith in a lot of young players. I guess some pain was inevitable before they get better. Hook had put his faith in a bunch of veterans and/or rejects. That is what he has done every season at the Dragons. It hasn't worked out so he just doubles down.

Dragons second rower Jaydn Su’A has learnt the extent of the shoulder injury he suffered last Sunday, with the club revealing he’ll miss the next three to four weeks.
Su’A suffered the injury in the 75th minute of the Round 7 loss against the Raiders, landing awkwardly on his shoulder.
Su’A was putting together a season-best performance against the Raiders, recording 101 running metres and four tackle busts before leaving the ground.

Griffin has finally returned JDB to his correct home and he is also playing him full minutes too. Our tackling machine pulled off no fewer that 54 tackles last week.

Isn't Griffin now starting with him with Liddle playing the second stanza? May backfire as Liddle is the better defender. I'd start with him then bring on Mbye for next 30mins, then a fresh Liddle to cut holes thru a tiring defense with his darting runs.

Unfortunately, little to none. I think they are a far better team with Manu at 5/8 and Walker in the NSW Cup.
I was just looking at the team list. Didn't pay so much attention until now. Only to see there were no changes other than the forced change. One of the worst in the NSW Cup loss being promoted to take Su'As place. Something I overlooked. Why is the coach picking Mbye to start at hooker? In the games I have watched, the entire team looks far better when Liddle is hooker.

Seriously the way this coach holds onto his favorites. Moses is a useful spine utility, but not a specialist in any one position. Hopefully next year we will do away with a dummy half utility.

Wouldn't surprise me to see at all if Rorters, Souffs and the scumbags huddled and made a deal for the Rorters to throw the game so we keep Hook. I know it's far-fetched but I wouldn't rule it out.

In my work life (now retired) thank God, I was fortunate to make middle management in a public sector job. The language being used by our board reminds me of the times at work where nobody wanted to make a difficult decision it was announced that we haven't been able to reach a unanimous decision but we are making progress and will continue to endeavour to ensure that we continue to converse with each other until we finally get to a unanimous concencus. In other words we had NFI what we were actually going to do. Sounds Familiar??
