Vaughan ranks 5th for post contact meres? That'd be a surprise but whatever he is doing, the Dogs or no other NRL club wants him for next season. Some whispers it's more because of his difficult personality but if he was a really good prop, some club would pick him up despite his personality.

I've also heard about his personality but it's all hearsay at this point. Dragons could have used him this year........ for about 1/3 of the money he was set to get. The Grubs are apparently paying him less than 1/4 what he was set to get for the final year at St George. And it was pointed out previously the Covid rules were patently ridiculous. They are allowed to play a contract sport together but not have a BBQ together? But Vaughan did it twice, the second time right after he was explicitly told not to do it. This lends a lot of weight to the idea he has some personality problems.

If only he was as good a prop for the Dragons. He wasn't so bad but not good enough to justify half the money he was on.

Yeh his numbers were down in 20/21 clearly from previous seasons. Being sacked.. albeit unfairly... may have spurred him to have a big follow up season otherwise it may well have been his last. It still may be, unless we offer him a cut price one year deal to return to the club he loves.

Well, I think the whole "Covid Tyranny" thing twas ridiculous but when Ray Hadlee read out Vaughans statement on TV and then revealed it was the first time he was suspended for breaking Covid rules....... I think the club was absolutely justified in sacking him.

JoDragon would have given him a frightening bake but as he didn't and Vaughan did what he did, it turned out well. I'm just wondering where his salary cap money is going? Apparently Woods and Burgess combined are on way less than Vaughan was going to get for the last year of his deal.

Good news about Cody Ramsay and Jayden Sullivan. Watching Cody limp off last week it looked a certain bung ACL. Turns out it was only a grade two medial ligament injury which will see him miss two rounds minimum. Beats six months plus rehab. Bud also with a minor knee ligament injury will miss three weeks minimum.
