I'm pretty conservative. I just think we should wait and see how they go in the finals before sacking the entire coaching staff. Because a top 4 spot is almost assured for Jersey Flegg at this point.Sack the entire coaching staff!! This is a club which finds losing unacceptable.

I was talking of Flegg. Nothing up on LU when I looked earlier.Sorry, just realised you were talking about NSW Cup.
Were you. Then sorry mate.Of course. I was too.
Firstly, I'm not bashing him. I've certainly never made any derogatory comments about him. If his lack of 100 run metres is due to the coach using him the wrong way, it's the coaches fault. I've seen several posters say he should come on off the bench and play more minutes. I agree with this.We do have to consider the minutes a player is given plus his possession. We all saw when Block was given plenty of both he doubled his average game mts. Doubt there'd be many props that ran 200 m all year. Regardless of your constant bashing as of last round, he remains our biggest forward metre eater with 1382. The next best is Molo with 1315. Dont hear any derogative comments on him or the other forwards. As for his defense you bring up his missed tackles, 36 but not his completed ones. 415. Now maths was never my strong suit but I'd say the positive far outways the negative. To put it in perspective our best and one of the comp's best defenders, JDB is 23 - 467.
It's easy to say he should start on the bench but who is going to start? JDB, whose best position is lock and who? Molo, Burgess and Woods have been tried and failed.Firstly, I'm not bashing him. Molo has been a disappointment. If Lawrie has run the the most metres of any of Dragons props, it's the main reason, which I think we all agree on, the Dragons have struggled badly against the best teams.
I've constantly stated, signing Woods and Burgess was a mistake. I don't even bother criticising them because they are no longer first grade standard.
The bottom line is, clubs can start negotiating with him from November. There is no news about other clubs chasing him or the Dragons rushing to re-sign him. It's a shame because if the coach used him better, I think he'd be much better.
Give Frank Molo a rocket and told to go hard for the first 15min and then he'll get a long rest. Have Lawrie replace and stay on until the last 15 min or 10min if winning. I wouldn't say Lawrie is a better defender but he does much more of it so if Dragons are winning, better leave him on a little longer. It's easy to say he should start on the bench but who is going to start? He certainly doesn't lack in those departments. He still has next year so hopefully another good, starting prop will be available to allow Lawrie to start on the bench but end up playing more minutes.I'll go along with that as he gets more minutes. There are also other assets that make a good footy player.. Passion and enthusiasm. Neither of which Block lacks.
He's big but struggling even in the NSW Cup.We need him due to his size when fit to bend tired defenses. He should be a bench player for his impact alone. Few forwards tip the scales at over 120Ks. Burgess is another player that Griffin is badly handling imo.
Chris I rewrote those words. But you quoted my first post too quickly.Firstly, I'm not bashing him. I've certainly never made any derogatory comments about him.
Haven't seen. Going on what I've heard and I know he was demoted to the bench.GCRV have you actually watched him play live or going off a few miserly mins we peasants are handed of lower tier games or perhaps hearsay. I did watch him in one televised Ressie game and he imposed himself in a brutal manner. Sure looked fit for Firsts that day. Dead set it is Griffin's obsession with his former Bronco pups and his favorites that we are not seeing lower tier form players promoted.

Isn't this bloke usually a full back or three quarter. Finds himself at 5/8. How are his playmaking skills.Treigh Stewart
He's definitely a hooker. At least he was definitely playing hooker in Jersey Flegg. But like you, I've never seen him play.Presuming he is also a hookerEric. Cant say I have seen him play. Have you. This is where it is so ridiculous for us keyboard warriors and fans in general.. There is so little info given or shown of lower tier players, that we are fumbling around in the dark as to what they may offer our club.
Yep, he's been playing winger previously. Obviously he is fast so with good playmaking skills, that a.long with newly promoted Zach Herring may be the reason the club is no hurry to extend Amone.Isn't this bloke usually a full back or three quarter. Am interested in seeing how Zach Herring goes in his Ressies debut. Or am I mistaken.
Lots of backs getting promoted or moved around to get closer to the action and get their hands on the ball more often. As for the forwards, it's a mystery. J. Hunt is going to get promoted next year but other than that, no idea which forwards are going to play first grade.

- Is this why Connor Muhleisen hasn't been given a go in the NRL despite him at lest playing well in the NSW Cup? Declan Purcell is on an express train to the top. He started out in Jersey Flegg. Went to Jersey Flegg bench. Pushed the Jersey Flegg captain out of the starting team and is now on the NSW Cup bench.
- Still, other than Coric who'll probably go back to Jersey Flegg after NRL reserves are cut, no indication of which forwards are going to step up to the NRL next year.
- A few new names. I wonder if it's for injuries or someone isn't happy about last weeks loss.
